Volume 19: 56,484
Volume 20: 55,764

Yeah, after lots of ups-and-downs, at least I can say that I finished an entire story. It may not be the best out there, but still, I did my assignments (like research, and brainstorming). Also, even though I'm done, I'm having qualms on releasing V20 chapters right away, simply because after that, it's over. You know that empty feeling inside you (@SailusGebel perfectly described this in one of his comments in my profile posts) after you finished something that has been with you for so long? That's how it felt for me.

But any case, I'll still release it later on, prolly around late August-early September timeframe. And yeah, I plan to spend my entire 2024 drawing stuff, maybe build an artbook as a 'companion' piece for the entire novel series, to take a break. Then, next year would be a new story series (I got lots in hiatus, so I'll focus on one).

To the guys here in ScribbleHub and other writing sites and groups I belonged to, thank you so much for supporting me even though I'm not a talented writer.

Also, trivia:

1) Chersea's original name in my drafts and plans is 'Melvinius,' but I decided to drop it because it's way too formal.
2) I originally envisioned my main character 'Kuro' as someone that has a cheat power. However, I decided against it, preferring to acquire his abilites thru hard-work in the entire story.
3) I wrote the series as a 'foil' to the typical harem-isekai-litRPG stories I read.
4) Majority of the story was written during the pandemic years, when I was locked in my house because of government policies at the time.
5) The original plan was to write five books, but I decided to expand the storylines of the characters to avoid the usual traps of harem-isekai stories.
6) I used up to 24 notebooks to draft my manuscripts.
7) The original digital manuscripts was lost two years ago, when I made a mistake while formatting my PC.
8) Kuro's original name in the drafts is 'Gregorio Santos,' which I eventually shortened to 'Greg Santos.'
9) I have plans for prequels and a sequel, though for now, I'd like to focus on other stories I moved to hiatus board.
10) As I am a teacher, a lot of the characters in my novel were based on real people, more particularly, combinations of several real personalities.
11) Yep, it's harem-isekai, but I avoided writing smut because my students read my work.

An example for all of us of persistence and hard work, truly congratulations for writing the final word and creating such a magnificent work. You deserve all the compliments you'll receive.

=)

I really like how you did not give your MC a cheat power. It would have been the easy thing to do, but you took the harder path. Kudos to you!
I always want to challenge myself, and push boundaries. After all, like the UK SAS..."Who dares wins!"

I still plan to complete the entire series by writing four books as prequel (I planned it ahead), and a sequel book (also planned). After all, I did say I'd write a 25-book series when I first uploaded this story in the main site.

But yeah, I'd like to celebrate this for the meantime. Thankful for your words!

Well done :blobtaco:

Great job! You deserve a break! Make sure to take a rest and congratulate yourself for your success. You did something that 90 percent of people writing stories here won't even do. That is very commendable and inspiring! It makes me want to write 5k words right now. Nothing motivates someone like seeing their friends succeed.

Congratulations!!!! :blob_gift: :blob_gift: :blob_gift:
