When monster reincarnation novels start making their mc not care about human lives at all or make them antagonists for doing basically anything that impedes the mc no matter how reasonable it is.
Mind manipulation or not they were still human before and they become something else and all of a sudden humans suck and deserve whatever the mc wants to do to them? Can't stand it when they do that.

To be fair, I never read them, but can you read them ignoring the numbers?

It feels weird because if you don't keep track, then when MC uses skills or some items from inventory, it gets confusing. Not to mention those endless skill leveling info dump, inventory item track, attributes track, job changes, nerfs, debuffs that decrease their stats, buffs, and so on. So, nope. I don't think you will enjoy reading such books. It would feel like MC is getting OP and pulling out items from nowhere.

magic MacGuffin that he just suddenly gains with no reason, qualms or struggle and Mc just accepts it. Seriously how are you not the least bit curious bout that? Or even afraid of such a thing, whatever the magic power-up or item originates from.

Whenever MC gets OP, I lose all the interest in the story.
This is especially true when MC hides his powers and allows himself to be bullied, only to show in the end how superior he is. Bruh.
