Am really curious about this,i admit most of the times i get beaten up in MOBA but i always dive into them again considering my meager skils
Lol it like getting doped when you winThe high you got from winning is so good it felt like crack.
That i admit much.... especially when you have skills the winning makes it more sweetBecause they usually feel fair, if you had done this or that you could have won which makes the wins you do get feel all the more satisfying.
I been called garbage teammate in MOBA more than anything in my lifeIt's like a complicated game of chess, the best characters are the ones that disrupts the game to your team's favor the best.
Though some reasons that people get addicted to MOBA is probably kill dopamine followed by a win streak. Guess that it builds up their ego which in turn makes them more entitled and be more narcissistic to the point that every single mistake could be seen as a teammate issue
When you want to play casual you get a teammate who has been playing for 5yrs more than 19hrs..yeah it becomes toxicMasochism
I'm more addicted to lootboxes but the anxiety i feel when looting is off the chartsOn their own they are not as addictive. Addictive part is everything around them. Rating numbers, events, skins, lootboxes, battle passes, etc.
Theres a term for it buts its effectively chasing the high. With MOBAs specifically theres a bit of a grace periodcwhen you start out, you know nothing and you know you suck. But that it happens, you make a play or get really into winning a match. Your brain associates that with the good brain chemicals and it starts to develop a cycle around that.Am really curious about this,i admit most of the times i get beaten up in MOBA but i always dive into them again considering my meager skils

Some people its just winning, some its about a visuall representation of them getting better IE a rank or mastery. Some people its simply it just becomes a part of their routine. Theres a myriad of reasons why they might be addicting but it really just boils down to your chasing some kind of high the game gave you before.
Dont worry youre not alone
Obviously because you get to troll others just for fun and watch them scream in frustration only for you to report them at the end of the match and get them banned. ??
Damn, I already knew, but you’re a dick.Obviously because you get to troll others just for fun and watch them scream in frustration only for you to report them at the end of the match and get them banned. ??
1) Numbers goes upAm really curious about this,i admit most of the times i get beaten up in MOBA but i always dive into them again considering my meager skils
< (yep)I'll add:
Sadism
Do you know that, BETA of LoL was wholesome.I been called garbage teammate in MOBA more than anything in my life
When you want to play casual you get a teammate who has been playing for 5yrs more than 19hrs..yeah it becomes toxic
You are a baka.I been called garbage teammate in MOBA more than anything in my life![]()
(Anecdote)Lol it like getting doped when you win
That i admit much.... especially when you have skills the winning makes it more sweet
^Yep !Whatever puts you in a positive feedback loop of flow state can be addictive. Video games are considered addictive cus of dat.
1) Numbers goes up
2) Hero grow stronger
and its why the Heroes of the storm MOBA was fundamentally a failure (even explained in CNs with a game maker MC)
3) PVP > PVE (in term of ceiling fun)
Players are fundamentally MORE RANDOMIZING ACTIONS than any current AI (not sure now)
A NPC no matter the programming, will always follow a line of course/routines.
But a HUMAN?
The human brain is the culmination of a gigantic number of super-computers (before the invention of quantum computers)
In a old anime "Neuro detective", there is this "villain" that ransom all the super computers in the world, just to barely replicate 1% of the personality of a deceased woman.
2.5) Crushing the weak.
Human psychology.
4) Be a hero
= Immersion. The ultimate goal of any "entertainment".
Song, novel/book, game.
And also why "old works" > "modern ones" bc they were invented to say a story. But now creators focus more on "how to get popular" when starting to create.
Evangelion, OPM, etc were created WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING THEY WOULD SUCCEED (and even created them with a failure from the start)

Dont forget to @ me for ANY
knowledge related question, ESPECIALLY for gaming/anime or more.
(yes i'm flirting with botty nonstop, but before that, im overall a robot)
< (yep)
my 2.5
Do you know that, BETA of LoL was wholesome.
It was good times......
(once said that to some teammates (of another game) were surprised and near didnt believe it / said it in a shocked style)
Also warmog and Ryze ulti were the broken shit.
Warmog +1hp per minion kill and +15hp for champ kill. MAX +3000 (or 5000?)
And ryze ulti, is bouncing disk E. With +250%AP or somthing ratio.
= enemy is instant delete (personal story experience, with one of my most clear memory of LoL, beside my first penta)
You are a baka.
Or more precisely, a information-lacking baka.
Reason : No one touch LoL anymore. Turning into a common internet knowledge, that LoL is now a toxic swamp that no one should touch anymore.
Its as well known as Twitter is a shithole to never go to. NEVER.
(-insert Lion King meme to not go there-)
You are a teachable cutebaka =pSensei don't call your student baka
