Reddit is not a good site. I honestly don't use it. But virtually everyone say it's a cesspool. So I don't know about making SH more like Reddit.
Anyone saying to make a site more like Reddit is not someone whose opinions should EVER be taken seriously in the future.
No. There are so many complaints because authors have barely any skin at all, and because they are two-faced. They are okay with unfair 5-stars, but not okay with 1-star ratings. It's that simple. The amount of complaints about real trolls against those who have thin skin is one in a ten
Been saying this constantly. People making posts and crying about 1-stars are ALWAYS hypocrites.

ALWAYS.

Say what you will about the rest of reddit, but upvotes and downvotes work well. So well, in fact, that youtube had to remove (or at least hide) them after all the rewinds and videos from big companies got ratio'd to death.

This statement right here is an argument for leaving SH as it is now. Nothing changed will really bring any actual improvement that won't just be negated by some other form of unfairness/trickery.

Also, Tony is extremely biased. I know of several other former members of SH that have been banned, and I personally witnessed the disputes that led to their removal from the site, and Tony definitely plays favorites.

And when topics get political, Tony's punishment certainly leans more towards one side of the political aisle than the other.

Doing any reddit-like changes to the site, just sounds like more Moderation shenanigans upcoming in the future.

Damn this thread is still standing strong and I can see new players entering this cesspool.

You gonna have to be more specific.

I'm actually curious of these "several former members of SH" who got banned too. I rarely ban people and I would only ban after a lot of warnings.

I don't know anyone on SH as I'm not even active. How can I be extremely biased if I don't know anyone? I'm glad I have you here to talk for me though, random stranger!

Ban someone from the right -> @Tony obviously leans left

Ban someone from the left -> @Tony obviously leans right

You probably heard from a friend of a friend, right? :blobrofl:

Go ahead and make a new thread to call me out though. I'm actually curious. I'll lock this thread as it's getting way off topic.

On a similar note, I hope you understand that I'm not on the forums reading every post looking to lock threads. I only check threads when it's reported. Who has that kind of time?
