I need help with my English

So, I have gone out of practice when it comes to speaking in English, since I speak German at work, and Bulgarian in my free time. I can write in English just fine, but when I try to switch to English after a day of speaking in German, I sound like a special needs student.

If any of you can set aside 10 minutes now and again, so we can chat in English on discord, I would be grateful. We can do an English-German exchange, chat about stories and other stuff.

I wouldn't be of much help. I have a speech impediment and I stutter a lot around new people. I'd probably do more harm then good.

Well, a friend of mine died. I was informed today, because they didn't want to tell me while I alone at home, but I found out when I was home alone anyway. So every distraction is good distraction. There's not much else that one can do.

Ah the old German accent when it comes to english words. I'm self taught but I guess to speak english properly, focus on areas where the german is more prevalent. Ie. pronouncing "w" as "v" or sharpening of consonants. From my time of trying to learn how to do an American and British accent, focus on smoothening out consonants. Like how british accents don't highlight some consonants in words that contain the letter "r" in the middle. Or how American accents contain a "gallop" (the western cowboy style tone) with pronouncing some vowels.

Keep practicing and you'll make it eventually!
