Been away for about a year, but now I'm back, baby!

I've been lurking on the RR forums and it came to me today that I has also been posting here on Scribble Hub. My Oni Rokura story did all right over here, a lot better than on Royal Road. I'm gearing up for another big writing push. I'm deciding on an exciting story to write--probably going to be something with a large cast of characters, maybe isekai or some kind of story centered around a big competition for the "gamey-gimick" nonsense people seem to like in these parts. (Why can't I turn off italics?!)

I'm not planning to write to market so much, but I thought I should know what's popular these days on SH? I'll write to market in as far as my own interests go. I can't tilt or lean my writing in a direction, but I won't go full "write-to-market" mode.

Give me some thoughts and tips. Should I write about boobs, or should I be clean and wholesome?

I'm looking forward to being back, and delivering to yall a big gun blockbuster story (even if you don't read it.)

Just an observation, but a relatable, kind (I think) MC is what’s popular here on SH. Bonus points if the MC is a girl (though there are male MCs trending too).

RR seems to favour anti-heroes.

Welcome back, stranger! It's good see that you are so enthusiastic about writing your next story. (Usually, I don't turn on italics at all.) It might be irrelevant, but I noticed that there are more fantasy novels on this site than any other genre; I guess, isekai is a subgenre of fantasy too.

Anyway, all the best with your next story, and take your sweet time writing it!
