You mean "Nisekoi"? That's exactly what happened. Ah! I hate it.
Yeah, mostly. There are other examples too, but that was the first time I saw an ending like that. I'm sure most of the viewers reacted like this:

AoT ending.
The whole last season. :blob_no:
Oh, I can tell a bad ending. Solo Leveling!

Stupid time travel is introduced when it wasn’t even a major function of the story, and it only serves at a shitty way for the author to bring back characters. All of the sacrifices ended up worthless.

Bad endings are when the story ends for reasons outside of the logical conclusions of the narrative.

Anime and other forms of TV adaptation has this all the time; ran out of book material, made shit up for an ending, it feels unsatisfying.

In the space we all write in, it would be stuff like outside factors influencing where the story ends. Endings being rushed because the author OWES YOU NOTHING AND IS CREATIVELY DONE WITH THE CONCEPT (my god if people could just be sane enough to admit stuff like that the world we would live in), amateur mistakes stemming from authors having simply not written endings, the serialization problem, lost account passwords, and good old procrastination novels.

That's like calling out to almost all of the writers here, especially the last part. Also, I'm sorry for doing all of that.

Yeah, it was, like, the worst. The ML was like, Oh! I like both of them. But, I gotta choose. It gotta be chitoge.
But, for me, I hate harems. So, it couldn’t seem to be good otherwise.

An ending that makes no sense in relation to the rest of the stories setup.
