both are the same type of disappointment after a promising start.
Yes.I hate them both.
I hate them both.
Why?Yes.
Because they aren't system.Why?![]()
I never got into BC, but Fairy Tail became bad after a good opening. The author somehow kept making it worse and worse.Why?![]()
Oh... I thought you hate magic in FT.Because they aren't system.
Unlike the Fairy Tail's Ice Magic which still pretended to have a teacher, most dragon slaying magics are unique like the bloody X gene.
The cast of magic users aren't learning from schools of magic with proper scaling, but rather just a bunch of asspulls after asspulls.
Don't get me wrong, I love the fights, some of which relied on brain such as during the fight between the two ice users and a dude that casts slowdown on his foes. It took a while but once the gig is up, the dude is done.
But then the time skip happens, the hype fell flat and I lost my tolerance for it.
Same as above.I never got into BC, but Fairy Tail became bad after a good opening. The author somehow kept making it worse and worse.
The magic "system" was also shit because everyone was special. Someone introduced? Special. Someone returning? Special. Everyone is special. It was stoopid. Both of you don't dislike the non-existing system per se, but the manga. Which is understandable, I don't like it either.
True, but majority of shounens have this type of "system." And even if they do have a proper system, like Naruto or Bleach(I know both are bad examples, me lazy), the only ones who are NOT special are cannon fodder. Also powercreep makes them obsolete. The magic "system" was also shit because everyone was special. Someone introduced? Special. Someone returning? Special. Everyone is special. It was stoopid.
Oh... I thought you hate magic in FT.
Corty answered better than I did.The magic "system" was also shit because everyone was special. Someone introduced? Special. Someone returning? Special. Everyone is special. It was stoopid.
Well, I answered to this above. If you do have a proper system, no important character will abide by it. Plus harder systems are more susceptible to power creep.Corty answered better than I did.
i do hate the magic in FT, which isn't magic, it's asspull.
Perhaps it is due to being hyperfixated on the overly competent special people, but the magic in FT feels like superpowers from superheroes instead of actual studies and trainings.
Only the gifted shall wield magic, others can go eat steaming feces.
I hate shippuden so much.Well, I answered to this above. If you do have a proper system, no important character will abide by it. Plus harder systems are more susceptible to power creep.
Also that. The author has been nothing but butchering and reselling Rave Master in worse version but with more shiny package...Rave master > Fairy tail <.<
