I didn't lie. I do have +9999% resistance against being called cute! It just seems that you've gained the ability to bypass my resistance :blob_no:
It definitely makes sense that just as you are my weakness, I am yours. Or maybe it doesn't make sense, but it definitely makes me happy.:blob_melt:
(Un)luckily I already had a laptop by the time I decided to try writing novels. Though if my doodles and poetry from high school are anything to go by... I have no desire to go read those.
My teacher was a fan of what I wrote, so maybe what I wrote back then wasn't so bad. I'd like to reread my essays. Who knows what I thought at the time and what style I had. Rereading them would be a bit like time travel. I'd definitely cringe a lot, kind of like looking at a photo of myself as a child.

I wonder what teenage Ssemouy wrote, what kind of poetry. Love letters? Existential dramas? Fan fiction? Power fantasies? All of the above? We'll never know.
I'm considering writing on paper sometimes. I tried it partially with a chapter I'm writing for SHHS and I got a lot done. It's a lot easier to focus when you don't have access to the entirety of the internet. Then I could just transcribe it on my laptop. Though I'll probably only do that for stories that don't require any research.
Isolating oneself from the internet certainly increases productivity, so I believe that this method can work.

The idea is intriguing, but when I think about having to copy what I've already written, I lose the desire. I don't like transcribing, that I'm pretty sure of, even though the feeling of pen and paper is undeniable. I realize that when I need to jot something down, I do it much faster with a pen, and I still prefer paper agendas to Google Calendar. Maybe it has to do with my job. It's not bad to lose the habit. However, I reiterate that when it comes to writing a novel, I'd resort to the pen only if I had no choice.
Strangely enough, I'm very careful with those. I still have a USB with files from... 2007. Compared to my phones, which have a lifespan of about 4 years before the motherboard spontaneously combusts or it just decides it doesn't want to be pleasant to use anymore. I lost a few writing notes from those, but I don't really regret it that much.
I definitely need your care when handling these memory devices. They don't last long with me, so the invention of Dropbox was a game-changer for me (though I don't use it much anymore, preferring other services). My phones also tend to fly, but fortunately, I've learned my lesson and always use particularly protective covers, even if they are a bit inconvenient.
I'm a fan of Futurism, I'll probably be one of the first ones to die in an unethical human experiment gone wrong. :blob_evil:
I need to clarify this concept because I might misunderstand what you mean by Futurism.
What I know as Futurism is an artistic movement that is very dear to me, but this term can be misinterpreted in 2024 because Futurism is politically associated with a political alignment that is not well regarded.
For me, art is art, and I separate it from political connotations, but not everyone feels the same.

The Futurists were a circle of particularly extreme artists and intellectuals. They could be described as interventionists and even warmongers. They exalted violence and conflict as means of evolution. Their cornerstones were machines, dynamism, and speed; they celebrated technology and industry, seeing them as symbols of progress and human power.

It is an extremely progressive thought that sought to break with the past to create an aesthetic suited to modernity (which is ironically a contradiction with the conservative party it is associated with).

By the way, this work by Carlo Carrà is one of my favorites. I have a printed copy hanging in my office.

As for transhumanism, I'm conflicted about it. I don't deny that the idea of living forever attracts me, but when it comes to replacing parts of our body with mechanical/robotic pieces, a philosophical dilemma arises, one you already know: the Ship of Theseus Paradox.

Or even if we could transfer our consciousness into a machine, without our body, would we still be ourselves or a new individual? I think at that moment, we would die, and another person, identical to us but NOT us, would be born.

*grabs copy of Art of War*
Chapter 3 14. "Hence the skillful fighter puts himself in a position which makes defeat impossible, and does not miss the moment for defeating the enemy."
It is one of his concepts. :blob_uwu: I just borrowed the quote from a military veteran. Another of my favorites is "If brute force isn't working, you aren't using enough of it."
His concepts and philosophy are constantly repeated, and I see your words reflected in these as well:
"In war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak." and "Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win."

I'm curious about your passion for war, ships, and armaments. Where does it come from?

Curbstomps are sound and logical, but those usually aren't as interesting theatrically. It's also the exceptions that tend to resound in history the most.
I'm not talking about overturning the odds, but about tragic defeats that have become legendary. The most striking example is the Battle of Thermopylae. A foretold defeat against a stronger and overwhelming enemy, yet it served to win the war. In other cases, like El Alamein, they didn't even help to win the war, yet the memory and the sacrifice remain and echo through history. I can't help but think that these are more interesting stories than a crushing victory. But I'm a romantic; in reality, a defeat in the practical act to yourself is of no use even if it is heroic, and as always, you are right.
That's what I'm thinking, the unknown could totally just be fear of the known, just with added uncertainty.
We can only try to be careful and live in the present.
It's the case for games with In-app purchases in general :sweating_profusely:, I learned to set a monthly spending limit after sinking too much money on a mobile game that I didn't play for that long anyways.
Unfortunately, it happened to me too, and I regret it even now.
You shouldn't even be able to get that pack... but I'm just warning you in case the devs decided to be extra sadistic this season. I swear they keep making it harder every time...
I will be fine. I am using your tactic of stagger the bosses and nuke them with ultimates/ego.
Yeah, I was planning on holding my tongue but I already mentioned that I knew about it multiple times anyways... I even used one of the characters as a pfp :blob_sweat:
You also used her name in the role-playing game. :blob_evil:
To be honest, torture porn aside, it's probably my favorite story involving Lovecraftian anime girls. They actually nail the "eldritch deities wearing human skin" instead of psychotic yanderes with godly powers. The goal of the Outer Gods is to understand human emotions in order to create things, but the way they go about it is methodical, to the point it feels like cruelty to those inside the Gardens. But to them it's all just a "play", although some get too absorbed in their roles and forget their original identity.
You had me at "eldritch deities wearing human skin"... woah, there's so much potential in that. It sounds like the kind of story that can truly delve into the deepest abysses of the human soul... the Japanese are unmatched in this. They have a lot of darkness inside, or at least they don't hesitate to transpose it into games and novels.
Damn, how far will my obsession with you go?

From what you tell me, it sounds like the kind of story that would interest me. Should I start with the first one or go straight to the second?
The engine used is really solid: RPG Maker VX Ace. Unlike MV, it has even more pleasant base resources and a less unstable engine. I created two games with it. Although I don't understand much about programming, as a profane, Ruby seems better and more elegant to me as a programming language compared to Javascript.
Well, except for one of them, that one has made it her life goal to inflict as much pain and misery to others as possible and is 100% self aware of how sadistic she is and revels in it. Worst part is that she's probably the closest to understanding humans... which is unsettling. Truly one of my role models as an author
Not gonna lie, that sounds really interesting. No, I'm really not trying to understand you better!
Therefore, I can say that I am absolved of the horni, because I have played the game for plot. :blob_uwu:
Ego te absolvo. ? We all know that the best hentai are those with thick plots. :blob_evil:
I'm a bit worried the content might be too unsettling for you, but seeing what you're writing on main, you'll be fine.
W-wait... That is an abyss that goes pretty deep. I don't know if you want to look into it.
However, I'll just tell you that my favorite web novel is Pure Love x Insult Complex. And I have read much worse.

Aren't we all?
One of the reasons I appreciate your chapters in SHHS is the presence of numerous characters interacting with each other at the same time.
It’s one of the things I struggle with the most, especially when dealing with unique characters, giving each their own voice and the right amount of time, and trying to make them act according to their personality is really exhausting. I'm writing a part like this, and I can't satisfy myself. 4000 words that feel like 40000, and I'm struggling to write at the speed of 2wordsperhour.

It's not writer’s block, it's laziness combined with an emptied brain, a weariness of the soul that sometimes makes me want to bang my head against a wall. It's not the damn burnout, it's those knots of tangled masses I invariably reach when I'm about to write. In my mind, everything works perfectly, but when it's time to put it down on paper, every word is excruciating pain.

Ok, rant over.
I'm grateful for the help, but where did you get these connections? Isn't Shizuki a hero? :blob_hmm_two:
It happens that Shizuki is particularly attracted to someone who is very close to me...:blob_whistle_two:
It's half of my writer's motto. The other is "This character is too precious and I will allow absolutely nothing bad to happen to him/her"
Why yes, I do love all my children equally :blob_uwu:
Mary Sue in Sufferland :blobrofl:
Context, please. Context. :blob_no:
In this case it is not necessary. :blob_evil:
Why does this seem like it's going in a very unideal direction :blob_frown:
Don't you want to cook with me?

"Ugh... S-chan~ good morning~ woah there a cute fox~"
:blob_uwu:
Shizuki picked up the fox and hold it tight while SNVW looking at the fox analyzing, their problem with Eldritch being has not over yet so she need to be careful.
:blob_melt:
<Shizuki-chan are you not feel anything weird? Or how this fox get into here?>
Shouldn't be? I am more powerful than you after all :blob_happy:
"Well there should be nothing to be worries about~ if the fox behave then it not going to the grill~"

=Ah so that it is, wait=

<Grill?>
you wouldn't be able to harm it even if you tried
Few seconds passed and SNVW getting sleepy and minutes later she can't hold it much longer and fall asleep, leaving this suspicious fox on another cushion not far them.
Then the fox walks up to Shizuki and snuggles up to her and getting hugged by the sleeping Shizuki in turn.
