It's Rose and Maple Brandy seasoned with Mastic to give it that extra touch, that bottle of wine made from roses and maple syrup you saw in the cellar was something that i distiled into this fine Brandy although i added mastic resin before actually distilling it

But replace the sugar (or honey) with maple syrup and after fermentation add the mastic resin and distill it i guess?

Read it for a bit. I think it would work, but I don't have experience with wine making, only moonshine.

Or maybe not, considering the chemical composition of sugar and maple syrup. Wouldn't that change the drink too much?

I have no idea never tried anything in regards to alcohol in general but the idea has been stuck in my head for a week now
