I know alot of stories out there about how a neet/introvent/shut-in etc. Got isekai into another world and want to stay hidden or be alone or stay somewhere secluded where they don't get bothered but how often is there a story where they Actually do it. Like a neet who has all these power and all he does is stay in idk a floating castle that have all the things he could want so he never leave. If you want to be alone should you do everything you can to keep it that way ? If a someone need a place to stay then just fucking teleport that anoying person outa there. If there's an army coming through your place and you have the power to wipe them out of reality then do it. Don't just wait for them to wreck your place, call you names and escalate shit.

Tldr, i want a story where if an mc want to stay alone then they should stick to it.

That is pretty rare. Often, they are thrown into scenarios where they have to talk to people.

Because it would be a boring book and the gimmick would run its course in only a handful of chapters.

Granted, you could make the OP Intronerd a target for the rest of the world they've invaded and there are plenty of creative ways you could cause conflict, but you're still going to be forced into situations where other people will interact with the character. Otherwise, if the story is just a nerd screaming "stay away" and blowing everything up like a toddler for however many chapters, it's gonna be pretty boring. There's no tension. There's no development. There's no 'problem to be solved'. It's just a cycle of "World Bothers Introvert" and "Introvert Rejects World".

I would image it would get stale pretty quick. If you do want tension, you'll instead need to introduce outside characters and shift POVs to said characters. Otherwise, you're monologuing 90% of the time and you miss out on majority of the actual plot points and actions that matter and would be interesting to see, such as a country building its forces to knock on that floating castle's door and the politics involved in amassing those forces.

This,

I think some of the guides say that 10k words is needed to establish a character. There are some man vs. wild stories that do that but being able to pull it off is a rare skill. Most of the attempts tend to not be well received. I think wanting to be a loner but failing makes a better story. Like lazy dungeon master, the big goal of the MC is just to sleep and be lazy. But he never seems to be able to do it because if he did that would be the end of the story.

I don't know if that's interesting or not. But, I won't read/watch it.

Well...

The Origin of the quonset manager Is a story of a man trapped alone on an island during an apocalypse and is about him going slowly insane. He's very isolated. It's also very disjointed because its actually a book written by an archeologist from the far future after the world recovered. And some other strange things. But you want a NEET, you got your NEET.

It was also written at a dark point in my life, so I don't recommend it.

That is why :

Was a blockbuster recent WN (completed) among chinese community and TOP ranking.

Cultivator.
After the "prologue" arc.
MC stays in his cave for like MOST OF THE NOVEL. To cultivate. The rare fights he does : Goes out of the cave, go up the sky, kill the big villain that attacked the sect in a OPM fashion, go back inside, cultivate back.

He can't really be alone bc "plot/words-count"
but basically, he is "detached" from the people he knows.
He taught a few disciples, had a few friends, but like, he prefers staying-in-his-cultivation-grotto, compared to going with them.

The majority of novel (after prologue) : I cultivated XX years in the grotto. Hm...I wonder how are doing my acquaintaces. -> Open system panel -> Function to tell what happens to "relations" -> Y did this -> U did that ->MC reacts -> Back to cultivate.

Edit : Another reason of "its success" is bc it surfed on the big popular trend of "CAUTIOUS MC without BS stupidity" at that time.
One fun joke among the acquaintances (most of them are weird, also they die and reincarnate outside) is the "dog" that was tired to stay in the grotto, decided to go outside for a try, but after suffering SO MUCH outside for first trip, when he returned it became a "Hikkikomori" just like MC, fearing the outside that is bat-shit, typical of xianxias.

Edit 2 : Kinda fit and not. As he speaks / interact sometimes with others. But over-all he is truly a hikkikomori.

Other cases of introverts-MC novels.....
There are....but like Envy said, "talking" is needed to pad words.

So mostly, they are :
1) MC got a micro world in his yard. Some novels have MC being deadlysick and create a high-tech microcosm world.

2) Yuri novels
or
Yuri gender bender chinese novels.

bc FMC is often a loli and prefer lazy staying indoor but is bothered by girls/women.
Saw one yuri one (genderbender) recently about being a dragon-girl with "dragon nurturing" system on trxs.com (or jpxs123.com). Got cover using the image of the shyfoxgirl of the JPmanga of pharmacy MC

3) Sign-in novels

-------------------------------------------
Try using "Lazy protagonist" tag on novelupdates.

Lazy Dungeon Master?

Didn't read all of it, but it seem to fit.

The mc get summoned by a dungeon core, but he become the ruler of the dungeon and use the dungeon functions to create things so he can live a lazy life.
Not really introvert, but that kinda fit.

She is a traumatized shut-in that develops in certain ways as it's possible to predict from this Japanese title.

If you wanna pad your word count without dialogue, you can always resort to * gasp * world building.

I'm a little sad that there aren't more titles being recommended...

At least you know exactly what you sign up for because a title like Worm or Nowhere Stars won't tell you a lot, it's just all cons and pros.
Yeah, but spoiling the whole story in the title is kinda not my type Ig.
