Shizuki is now Brittish. :blob_blank:
Shizuki fought demons and is now Brittish.
Darn, couldn't she have become British before I wrote the chapter where she has a crucial role? :blob_pout: <- zero will to change all the dialogues
Okay, in the cursed timeline, she's not British. Period.

I'm growing an army of Daikon Super Sold--... ekhm... Grandchildren using 100 Pixies from different timelines as base :blob_uwu:
Woah! :blob_aww:
:blob_hmm:I guess the principle works in reverse too. After all, I used zombie daikons to create clones of Pixy.
They are definitely made for each other.

I'm very sorry for the late response. ?I was very busy with work and then I isolated myself in order to write.
Somehow, this message appeared the moment I logged in after being inactive for a while

That is... unsettling :blob_blank:
I should have expected from you the references to Terry Pratchett's works. :blob_uwu: Woman of culture. :blob_uwu:
He's one of my favorite sci-fi authors... what do you mean he's a fantasy author?
The idea of a super-advanced civilization exploring the most absurd possibilities just for the sake of having answers to all questions is amusing. On one hand, it opens up a comical scenario, but on the other, it is also extremely unsettling. Not surprisingly, you used the expression "god-like." They are effectively deities with this absolute knowledge. It makes me wonder what threat they might fear unless they are the threat themselves. Or perhaps they are the ones bringing life to the universe, similar to the theory that life on Earth was caused by extraterrestrial bioengineering.
Their only threat would be the existence of an omnipotent creator, though even then the only difference is who holds the better killswitch.

They're not exactly malicious, in fact, they're rather benevolent. Though that's precisely why some civilizations perceive them as a threat - if someone is curious about something, they could just ask and receive an accurate answer. And worst of all, the more awareness you have about the true nature of reality, the worse the existential dread surrounding them gets. In a way, you a right to assume that they are the ones who brought life to the universe... or more appropriately brought the universe to life.
In the end, even though it often makes no sense to reinvent the wheel, the fact remains that experiencing things for oneself is very different from learning the answers from others without understanding them. So yes, I like this character. Very human. We are rebellious by nature, and I can say I see myself in her.

I guess that's precisely the issue. Maybe you could try the route of short stories. They would serve the dual purpose of integrating the lore and publishing stories. Lovecraft and Howard did the same. Their rich universes didn't just appear out of nowhere. I think this is the method I use, more or less unconsciously.
That's actually what I'm trying to do right now! I'm writing a short story.
It may or may not be related to the Library I've referenced sometimes.
I decided to give up on perfectionism and focus on quantity rather than quality. The important thing is to do.
But don't take this as criticism or encouragement; there is no right method in writing. This is my deep conviction.

Moreover, I know for sure that there are no useless works; everything adds to experience and can be used at the right time. I have stories and worlds rotting away in some file or notebook, ready to be published. Maybe one day, their time will come.
Yeah... I'm just worried that everything I write will become irrelevant to the future me... that's definitely what happened to the me of 5 years ago.
Very fascinating, it's an impressive project, I would be discouraged just at the thought of it, so I believe it's difficult. From what you tell me, your nature as an explorer and your curiosity are clear. There is so much to discover and learn. The POV you represent to me makes me think of a deity observing the civilization it helps flourish. It wouldn't be a bad idea for a story.
There's two stories I've read that have the plot you described actually! "She Was Both Called God, as Well as Satan" and "The Life of Mt. Hororyuu". Though both have their shortcomings, mainly how the former downplays the development of civilization (I really felt like the whole church plot was too one-dimensional) and the latter is just too short >_>
:blob_hmm: Uhm... Decisions, decisions...
Although Ishmael is very hot, I prefer the idea of Ryoshu dressed as a maid. By the way, I tried the different Don Quixote 000 versions you made available to me, but I haven't figured out which of the three is the strongest. Maybe the fixer version?
By fixer, do you mean Cinq Don? I think she's the second most powerful... Warp Agent Don deals way more DPS and has no problem sustaining her conditionals at UT4... just make sure her charge is at 10 before you unleash that Rip Space. The difference is a max roll of 11 vs a max roll of 31... 31 on 5 coin skill

Okay, I'll set Chief Butler Ryoshu as one of my supports... use her orange and red skills to save points for her blue skills... then watch her show the enemies why she's the chief butler. :blob_evil:
Canto I completed, I've started the second.
I haven't progressed much because I focused on writing.
It's okay, write first! It's better that way. The future cantos may or may not give you an inferiority complex when it comes to writing. Totes not speaking from experience here.

It's funny cuz I forgot that Zombie Daikons were used for Pixy clones :blob_hmm: it was my first instinct to use Pixy for that... They are really really made for each other then :blob_evil:
*deletes the concept of lawnmowers*
Now you’ll have to use scissors~ if you can~
Good morning! :blob_reach:
*you see a quite chonky daikon, dressed like a farmer, running your way*

Know that I have thought of you often. Maybe my thoughts have reached you.

:blobrofl: Don't tell the purists, but there isn't much difference between the genres, especially with certain authors. :blob_evil:

That's an interesting perspective. I have always struggled to write creator deities, especially when trying to empathize with their POV, but I imagine you have found the right way. If we exclude the existence of an omnipotent god, a creator deity wouldn't be very different from a civilization with technology capable of creating anything. Even a universe.
Even a deity of this kind would lack all the answers and would continue to seek them. It is indeed an existential dread. There is no escape from it, but it is worth facing.
That's actually what I'm trying to do right now! I'm writing a short story.

Really? :blob_aww: Know that you already have a reader and a fan lined up.
Yeah... I'm just worried that everything I write will become irrelevant to the future me... that's definitely what happened to the me of 5 years ago.
Changed preferences or themes? Or maybe they are fan fiction? *is curious*

It's really true that everything has already been done! Oh well, I'll note down the names in the meantime. They seem very interesting.

Sure, sensei! I will follow your instructions carefully! :blob_salute:

Don't worry, I don't get discouraged when I find something exceptional. I'm a thief. A Magpie. I'll shamelessly steal if I find something I like. And I'm sure I will. This is my way of showing appreciation, copying and taking inspiration from what I like. :blob_evil:

Woah I look so edgy! :blob_aww: The get up definitely gives me the vibes of someone who just lost her husband or something.

Of course, that didn't actually happen... right? :blob_blank:
Ahem... Technically, you are not married in the Cursed Timeline, so you haven't lost a husband.

I hope you'll appreciate your part in the chapter; I loved writing it.

Morning~
Have you stuffed daikons into your clothes~?
nyo~ :blob_evil: Pixy fed me all those donuts and now I'm a chonky daikon :blob_no: I was tending to our army of Daikon Super Soldiers :blob_uwu:
This is how I imagine tripping on LSD is like :blob_hmm:
Guys, I missed you a lot. I even dreamed about you, and I'm not kidding.
We missed you to! :blob_teary: I hope the dreams were nice :blob_uwu:
