It’s funny that companies are all into defending ai art, writing, coding, but as soon as ai music becomes a thing they pull out every stop to get it shut down
They are not the best songs, I say the ‘fun’ comes from the ‘creation’, and even that is only because I don’t want to unpack and turn on my laptop, and open up MuseScore.I haven't listened to AI-generated songs, and I think I prefer not to. It feels unauthentic.
Lol xDThey are not the best songs, I say the ‘fun’ comes from the ‘creation’, and even that is only because I don’t want to unpack and turn on my laptop, and open up MuseScore.
So good the piano workhttps://suno.com/song/99aef81e-84f4-42c6-8a7d-64703c4a3f39 (sounds like standard jazz instead of jpop)
Rpg Maker Batlle themehttps://suno.com/song/6eec64ee-c74f-4ef9-829b-7fb6c6ed8b8d (sounds like the battle theme in visual novel)
Love the sudden changehttps://suno.com/song/c0ed9866-cbd8-4bd6-9219-1fc84ebc65ca (i really enjoy how the intro turns to a jazzy breakdown)
Funny themehttps://suno.com/song/3d1cf8af-5c58-49f6-b4cf-c277747d5b37 (i only kept the weird time signature for this one, doesn't really sound that weeby for me, but it'd be fucking epic theme for when the idiot friend steps up in a medieval or fantasy themed one)
North Korean jazzhttps://suno.com/song/f34ee1fe-a173-47de-9a26-637a85bd563d <- The best in this batch, by far imo. 6/10.
Are you by any chance a connoisseur of progressive rock? It's one of my favorite music genres. It's not easy to meet people who share this preference. Indeed, the AI's result doesn't much resemble classic Canterbury, but I didn't mind the outcome. For me, Camel is more representative of Canterbury:it sounds more like the backing track from the police songs
i feel canterbury scene is more like this
I couldn't have described the song better!this feels like the song that the backstreet boys don't want to release cuz it makes their teenage girl fans on suicide watch
Indeed, I'm quite satisfied with the result. It would also make a good Boss Battle Theme.A69
Heavy Metal, Nu Metal, Alternative Metal, Progressive Metal, Metalcore
A robust guitar solo using one of @gaylolis prompts.
sounds pretty djent
I'm very glad you like it! I would like to try making some power metal pieces like Rhapsody of Fire once I've gotten a bit more practice with the AI.Good lyrics, sounds nice. I made an account just to save to a playlist.
Would love some neoclassical or orchestral power metal. (not heavy metal)
Sorry Ane-San? It came out very well.I really like the sound of this one
We need dragon songs!ok, imma have to try this suno thing out sometime. so weird when the song just ends.
So good the piano work
Rpg Maker Batlle theme
Love the sudden change
Funny theme

I guess I made a mistake. Prog is so full of subgenres and scenes that it's easy to get confused sometimes.CAMEL discography and reviews
according to progarchives camel is described more as symphonic prog
there's also list of bands that fit under the canterbury scene
Canterbury Scene, a progressive rock music sub-genre
some of the prominent bands are caravan, khan, gong, hatfield and the north, national health and soft machine
i may describe it as a bri'ish men playing jazz fusion prog rock or maybe the jazzy prog rock that gives you the beatles vibe? they did have that unique vibe that's hard to describe lol
to your question, indeed i was an avid fan of prog, though i also listen to classical and jazz as well. camel is among the great bands, so you have a nice taste :D
the 70s bands are overall great but i don't really pick any favorites since a lot of them are great. i just listen to whatever sound fancy my ears.
if i name a few, i'd pick gabriel era genesis, gentle giant, camel, iq and big big train. a lot of their music are a hit for me.
did they really have anti nsfw filter on their lyrics? how tf these go through xD
It wouldn't let me use the words "torture" or "?️iggas." I think the filter only works in English, judging by your songs in Japanese...also, the nsfw filter might work mostly on the song title. i can get away with really pervy lyrics in jp (probably won't work if it's in english tho)
The choir makes it all epic.https://suno.com/song/71c16403-79dc-4f73-a2da-7f5cd5f41e4d <- Better, a bit muddled. 6/10
I like this folk-style version.https://suno.com/song/67dabf8c-51e1-463c-8dd4-3b77c906b84b <- Weird and a bit too Beatles-y, but good. 6/10
The contrast between the lyrics and the music style really makes me laugh; they are all great experiments nonetheless. This AI performs really well in Japanese.https://suno.com/song/6c301476-5f11-490d-ad80-b27aff36d390 (the story is about the girl's big brother turning to a girl but her pp were still big)
https://suno.com/song/aec977d2-c9ac-4e7e-97e3-a389b70bad3a (same song but different arrangement)
https://suno.com/song/5afb2ffb-4a38-42da-b1a7-19343123f37a (the fairy persuades a young man to become a loli for the sake of world domination)
https://suno.com/song/f3e88b90-fff7-4d54-9b23-8e25b8541042 (just different arrangement of the song above)
https://suno.com/song/fbbb91e1-8149-40a8-904d-df5c7afe30ee (unhinged rap about how society sucks after she failed to confess to girl she love, and how she wanted to start over by being a bald monk girl secretly cooking mixtapes)
https://suno.com/song/aebdceb9-789b-46b6-8db5-7c2834e4f1eb (different arrangement of above song)
Maybe I've managed to create something that can be defined as prog? I figured out how to make longer songs, but it cost me quite a few credits.tl;dr they didn't seem to recognize prog rock as musical style
the lyric language might play a bigger role for vocal songs than the musical setting in the start
