If anyone wanted to use my Spire Reef NPCs then kept in mind that they are limited time offering!

After all, Luna is getting closer to killing them all at every moment.:blob_evil:

Hey everyone, two quick questions. Should I consider a quest appraised when it's liked by multiple people or just when it's evaluated? Also, is this community operated on the same time? I mean, is there a 'Tonia time' or is it whenever each character feels it should be.

A quest is appraised when someone appraises it(they'll quote it and give you your reward) and the time is just whenever you want it to be.

I see. Thanks for the info
Also, logically you have to complete every quest in around 1 day-ish, inferring from the quest reward that only give you enough money to subsist for one day without any savings.

This is unsubtle request to raise the money reward @ohko.

Or you can just sleep outside of town and get into trouble every night >.>
And be hungry constantly while trying to get some money for the proper weapon (a dagger) <.<

I'm just saying... while that's doable (my character is modeled after a cat and I took ration and hunting quest after all. but for others?) it made a lot of quest have that one day time limitation. It's like you can't even be late or fail if you don't have a reserve money.

Don't worry, custom quests for cash are a thing after all.

Reciful look at Letianna back as take the Empty plate away...

"!?.."

suddenly Reciful look towards the somewhere..... her gaze is directed towards north... She is not looking what inside the tavern... But something towards direction of north. far in a distance place. Her Eyes see something.

"........... Why is it in here? " Reciful muttered standing from her chair to move towards north...

But her steps suddenly came to a halt, She Remembered the Lady generosity... Letianna's Kindness...& Recalled something from the distance past.. Reciful Experienced a similar warm, that once saved her.... But also the one that gives her true despair.

Smiling, Reciful take the paper that is thrown in the trash bin, fix it & write something on its back side, while leaving 20 gold coin on top of it.

What written on the paper is

" human food taste really good for the first time after a Billion years, Reciful is grateful... Thank you"

And thus the little girl truly vanished in the shadows this time for sure... Towards somewhere in north... Leaving the tavern
*Someone else grabs you preventing you from leaving*

So I have a bit of bad news for the higher level players~

I've talked for a while about how its supposed to be harder to level up the higher level you get.

However, so far, most quests have been awarding ~20% of the EXP necessary to level up, which means the difficulty to level up is roughly linear. In is in contrast to most games, where the level up difficulty is roughly exponential.

I've reworked the EXP gain and the rough plan is like this:
  • Levels 1-5: Quests give 20% EXP (sometimes even 25% EXP)
  • Levels 1-6: Ramp down to max 20% EXP
  • Levels 7-10: Ram down to max 15% EXP
  • Rank D: Max 15% EXP
  • Rank C: Max 10% EXP
  • Rank B: Max 5% EXP
  • Rank A: lol

The meaning of this is that essentially nobody should be getting to Rank S, and you shouldn't be casually planning on your characters getting to Rank S. Realistically, most characters should get to Rank C before realizing that leveling up to the next rank is prohibitively difficult.

That said, this is really only the guideline for guild quests.

I'm increasingly beginning to think that the higher the level you get, the more of your EXP should come from doing plotlines in custom quests. You'll need to find (or make) those quests yourselves.

In either case, I added quest codes to Spire Reef and Gelderholm -- and also EXP gain was nerfed (particularly Level 7+).

Also, logically you have to complete every quest in around 1 day-ish, inferring from the quest reward that only give you enough money to subsist for one day without any savings.

We've discussed this many times, personally I feel that 10 G at level one is plenty given the cost of food. There are many ways to find areas to make savings.

This is a philosophical point, but I don't believe that adventurers should be living a cozy life.

The reward is placed at a benchmark where it is barely livable but also quite uncomfortable.

Additionally, the Guild has a reputation for underpaying adventurers, so I intend to stand by that.
