"... I say, we need to stand up for ourselves! How many of you couldn't kill slime? Even my little brother could kill it! Last day, someone demanded my mother to pay the taxes to the adventurer guild. They did it so rudely, yet, I never feel one benefit at all. Where did our money go? We have our city guard, so why do they work to protect us for free, while we pay the adventurer who is just there doing nothing. So I ask you all. Why should we? I never need the help from the guild. I repaired my own house myself, and I am no carpenter or mason. No need to wait for the adventurer guild to move its engineering department, I say. If the city lord say that our taxes are for the growth of the city, I agree. But why did we always have the adventurer to do that?

a gang of youth doing social services, campaigning for their thoughts? Compared to the big bad organization who do shadowy things behind?

Anyway, it is from the receptionist perspective anyway. Unreliable narrator and all. Why would she know about the criminal gang?

You know I tried to make Mei's speech as curt as possible.

She just said, "Gang, any info?" while tilting her head. Should I edit that in?

Anyway, I originally planned to tie them to the demon cult, saying that they could provide a way to stand on the same level on the adventurer, without hardship. Some of them are tempted with that, and join the cult.

But then, I think, why should I? adding more entity at this point just make it more confusing for others. So, yeah. I turned them into a group of youth who is into independence from adventurers. Mostly speech and self defense training, and all that jazz.

So, a gang of purse snatchers become my quest object. just a small-time group that could be a part of larger group.

Don't worry I was disappointed in the youth from my generation too.

Also put that shit in a spoiler, it's slowing down my browser.
How the hell does a singular static image slow down your browser wtf are you using...................

I mean it's not that unusual really.
Correct! It’s normal for many geographical entities to have many names! This is true IRL too! Sometimes, only one or two names will truly catch on though.

In either case, the Library entry could probably have an added Etymology section. North Scribel Forest, also known as... blah blah blah.
How do people tell the time? is it by listening to the bell, or do they have a clock?
I don’t believe many people have mentioned it, so just write something into a quest report.

The GM comes around and wakes up everyone personally by dumping a bucket of cold water on their face.
