Man, I was such a brat

For years now I have written a lot per day, and was very vocal about it. But I can understand you all now. Today I wrote just 1k words because I got up 30 minutes later than usual.

It is not that we Scribblehubbers don't want to write tons per day. It is just that life gets in the way. Not only that, but it was naive of me to think I will write after work every day. Today I couldn't, and I hope that some sleep will chase away the headache from today's activities.

Me too. I've read that a book about writing that talks about ppl hoping inspiration will "come to you"... nah, it doesn't work like that usually. Writing is a rhythm thing. And it's true. Once you stop for awhile, it's harder to pick it up again.

The problem is, knowing that doesn't help.
