If you ask about how Alf sees this dialogue, then you have my answers.
He knows and fully understands that human logic is useless against certain beings. But, faith? You may not know this but, let me tell ya.
IRL, I've encountered near-death experiences. And not just once, but WAY MORE than ten. And that's a yearly experience. You know, if I didn't know how to control my breath while sleeping in a bad position, I would've died of suffocation. And if a year ago my bike's front tire had moved a little forward, that truck would've delivered me to the hospital. Yet, none of these things managed to take me to hell.
Another thing, I'm an asshole and a curious cat. Hence why I often do some dangerous stuff such as... I don't know, climbing someone's house's roof? Or... Attempting a jump that feels like a leap of faith? Yep. So, what happened? How am I not dying?
My death clock probably still has a long way to go, but I know one reason.
I always pray before acting.
So, you know just how many times I saved myself with just a prayer.
That concludes Alf's view of the dialogue shown above. Well, not quite, I suppose. Because Alf knows for sure that there is one game where heaven beings are written in-game assets and of course, able to be utilized. And for your info, his device is still on level 2. If he reaches the last level/level 3, he's not a mortal anymore, he's one of the eldritchs.
And here are his new abilities, if he unlocked the last level.
-Creation : Create anything up to imagination from atoms or use a template.
-Modify : Modify anything, including fast food expired dates.
-Erase : Erase anything, even reality itself.
-Ban Hammer : Summon a Ban Hammer. Anyone Alf desires to be hit will be jailed in a box, much similar to a prison for incomprehensible beings. This will work against nearly everyone in the school, except Tony.
So, here are his dialogues if he were to listen to that faith statement.
"Rationality will decrease your morale. Go calculate our win rate, you will give up."
"Then, do you understand their logic? They break reality, why don't we break time?"
"You never know just how many eldritch beings I fought with enough calculation and sheer clumsiness. Then, like an MC with only faith in it, god puts the W on me."
"Then miraculously, humans and their logic still hold up even in front of these beings. Don't that mean mortals are incredible? Don't forget, without mortals, immortals aren't special."
"If you really want to win, be like Patrick. He's dumb, but uncalculated. You'll be surprised just by how many times St. Patrick bless him."
