Most of my chapters are 5k to 6k, though I sometimes cheat and just make them 4.5k, and sometimes I go over board and make them 7 or 8k. My biggest chapter so far being 9.5k. I write 3 chapters a week sometimes 4 or 5 depending on how I feel or if I don't have OT from work.

I checked my average and it’s either 2500 words a day (but I write 1400 and an AI writes the other 1100) or 300 words a day. The AI is a constant block breaker that’s like having a 5x multiplier, and I suppose I could carefully eliminate/rewrite its 1100 and slow down a bit, but feels more honest to admit I have “cybernetic fingers.”
