Throwing the weapon isn't the real issue here. That's fine. But I really don't want to mess up my character's powerlevel, even if I have to make up some weird reason for it or simply pretend that the option of using a ranged weapon doesn't exist.

I'll add colour and some more detail when I have more time, this is just a WIP really, but I thought I might as well show you guys before I head to bed since I'm not sure when I'll be able to work more on it ^^

Something like that was my guess as well. "I don't need to use what I'm best at to beat you, and you don't even deserve to know it."

I'm not enjoying writing my quest report...but I feel what's happening in it needs to be done...but I don't like how it's going...but I don't think it would go any other way when considering Liana's condition/situation...but I'm worried that people will be bored by what I've written...

Who knows, maybe the slime horde will been and gone by the time it's finished...

Go for it, forget your worries, the ships, and have it! It won't be over anytime soon so go for the flow and forget the ships!!

But, seriously go for it. Character development is always a good thing and the flood won't be done anytime soon so you're got time to edit if you're not comfortable with the final result. It's more or less the same for me Cassel reports take a surprisingly amount of editing before going on the desk since my base grammar and dialogue is trash.

Yeah, my problem is the flow is intermittent and dries up in some parts, requiring some pumping from reservoirs so it doesn't die completely.

Maybe try taking a break to refresh your mind? For me drinking tea also helps refresh my mind.

Too many items that are too beneficial for a level 1.
The skills are too strong and many, especially the Manufacture skill - that's actually OP considering no material is even needed, it gives him near infinite amounts of bullets and that's only at level 1 for the skill...
