Yeah, bread is an awful food choice for any bird. Too much carbs, causing them all kinds of health problems, the most common one being feet deformation (or even having whole talons just fall off; it's a common defect among pigeons where I live).

Imagine living off chocolate only; that's how it feels for them. Birds eat bread, because it's tasty/easy to do so for them; but it's ok only in small doses, like a treat. As a main diet? Nope.

Spoilering cause wholesome thread and all, but yeah, bread is for starving homeless people, not birds.
