Is frog spawn like frog eggs or something~?
I'd be willing to try it~ No idea if I'd like it though~

Frogspawn is that jelly stuff with the tadpoles before they hatch
You'll find it near the surface of ponds and other still-water sources with enough vegetation and life in the water to sustain the tadpoles when they come out.
It will look like big clumps of small, clear, jelly balls with black dots inside

That random question made me Google it, and to my surprise you can eat them but it depends on what kind of Frog spawn it is because some frogs are poisonous

When people go to great lengths to have caviar, why have they never done it for frogspawn?

After a lot of research that will most certainly lead to weird ads later, whether or not frogspawn is edible is very debated due to the sheer amount of ai clogging up everything, damn it all.
Moving on, more sources say that frogspawn isn't particularly edible (or recommended to be eaten) than those that do, and those that acknowledge the strange folk out there raring to eat frog eggs need to at least cook them, however that's possible.
I know have information on this topic that I'm going to spend some time actively forgetting
