I myself am quite addicted to cilantro, however I am aware that for quite a few people, it tastes like soap.

I know of at least 5 people including @HelloHound that can't enjoy cilantro, which is very sad...

Fresh cilantro tastes like pain and suffering I don't mind it in a soup, obliterated

Well I'm the outlier in my family in terms of food: i love Spicy stuff, i eat raw eggs on occasion, and eat Blue Cheese, I've also eaten raw fish and meat before

yeah I was pretty surprised when I found out i got the cilantro-tastes-like-soap gene especially after I had grown myself a mighty large bushel of the stuff; the neighbors were appreciative tho

I will not touch raw meat or raw eggs. Although I did enjoy sushi quite a bit. But now I prefer the smoked fish version
