Honestly, both of them are just the type of characters that shouldn't be taken as a role model for a partner in a relationship...

I'd much rather read a book with Rosalie as a MC. She was probably the only character in the series that went through some "character development".

Extremely infuriating.
But that's why I said she was selfish.
She only thought about her own happiness and didn't really care if she broke bonds with people as long as she herself was happy.
Jacob wasn't really that much better, considering he only really tried to comfort her cos he wanted to get in her pants the whole time.
And how he basically just settled for a substitute of her through her daughter...

Rosalie I would argue didn't really have much character development, either.
We just learned more about why she acted like such a b around Bella.
And the only reason she 'softened' and got 'closer' with Bella was purely because Bella got pregnant, which meant Rosalie could experience being a mother through Bella.
Like, as soon as the baby was born, she swiped it away so she could look after it while the others dealt with Bella.
If I am recalling Rosalie to be the one who dated the buff beast of a guy she found herself while exploring decades ago.
