Before I begin, I'm really sorry for the moderators and the others. Idk if I can vent like this. However, even though I'm venting, there are things that need to be brought up.
I really don't want to do this, but this guy pissed me off now. So there's this person who's annoying the hell out of me because I blocked him. And I DO NOT FREAKING REGRET IT AT ALL! (Idk if I can curse.)
The general gist of what happened was this person commented on my later chapters, which I didn't like, so I blocked him. So this person is saying that this is criticism. So here's the thing I'm confused about, it's how he's implying it. He's saying criticism like he's doing it in a constructive way.
Like he's being helpful.
So, there are two types of criticism that I usually split as constructive and destructive. Constructive criticism is to help the author out, while destructive is just insulting and harmful. It does nothing, just like venting. If it's destructive, then I'm just going to block the person.
But, the main reason why he wrote all of this was because I blocked him. However, here's the thing that made this annoying.
That's because afterwards, he goes on every comment he had written on any chapter and does @ everyone where he says that I can't take criticism. So in my head, I was like, wth XD.
On a particular post, there was a person who commented on what he was doing. And I also commented, saying that there's no need to reply to him because the way he's typing right now is one the reasons why I blocked him.
And then he replies. (Before I begin, he's typing on one of the comments. Even if the person is blocked, the commenter could still edit it afterwards. That's how he did the @ everyone crap)
This is my mistake because I should have deleted all his comments. However, what he said next was just…like seriously?
There's really two pieces to it:
Second part(Large chunk of text):
This is such a victim/hero complex on a whole nother level. The second sentence shows how much of a victim he's playing. The third is saying because he couldn't stomach it, he had to comment on it. That's hero complex right there.
The next sentence, he didn't walk away from there. He literally went to all of his comments and @ everyone. So this is a lie and smh, it doesn't end there.
And his point on how I can walk away from a comment I don't like, I could do that. However, from experience, that doesn't work. Because if you leave comments like that on the chapter, you're just going to get more negative people coming in.
And the last sentence; Idk if he's forgetful or something, but he completely forgot the fact that he @ everyone thing and saying things. That’s the reason why I deleted his comments! I realize he could alter previous comments. This part was really funny. XD
So why did I write this? I did not want to write this in the beginning. In this situation, I have more to lose than him. Also, he's blocked, he would go his way and I go my way. You expect something like that. However, what clicked was when he literally made an account on Royalroad just today to write a review on my novel there!!!
So, the first sentence. The reason why I left this last is that it brings up the relationship between Authors and Readers. Readers can comment and leave things on the chapter. That's fine. However, authors can also delete or block people we deem as a hazard to our novel. This person is assuming that because he's a reader, he can say whatever he wants and that's that. No, that doesn't work like that.
So I'll say this, be respectful to authors and vice-versa.
That's why I want to say this; Authors, you need to block people like that. Like those types of people who bring harm to your community rather than good. Also, I'm not saying all readers are like this. There are readers who give great constructed criticism. There are many good readers. However, these types bring a negative connotation to the comments.
Once again, to the moderators and also the viewers who are looking, I'm sorry about writing this, I’m more venting about all of this because of how annoying he is. And now he’s bothering me on another website.
Also adding something, this person isn't a troll. He's a person who commented then got angry about being blocked.

- The comment he wrote I considered was destructive. (This could be different for others, but I view it as destructive.)

There's really two pieces to it:
- First part: he says this story is to shut your brain off. And then he says stuff like that irritates him.
- First things first, WHY ARE YOU READING IT?! If you don't like this type of story, why are you reading it? A good portion(like 70%+) of my novel is based on using his oblivious behaviour, so this part was confusing.
Second part(Large chunk of text):
- I'm going to be discussing the second sentence to the end. The first sentence, I'm going to speak about this later because this ties into a lot of other things. So the 2nd sentence and beyond, the only thing I can say is,
This is such a victim/hero complex on a whole nother level. The second sentence shows how much of a victim he's playing. The third is saying because he couldn't stomach it, he had to comment on it. That's hero complex right there.

- Even if he gave a fair review, I don't want him near me because of how he's acting.
