Why do people walk? Flying is so much more comfortable.
Cardio! Not everyone is an otherworldly being with a bottomless pit of stamina. Just look at what happened to Darkness... she can barely move herself aside from levitating

That's opinion based, I think "good" heroes can be too cringe, there is not a defined way to be cringe or edgy. I think idealistic villains are the most interesting.
The more I think about it, the more I become convinced that it is less about the moral alignment and more about how compelling the character is. The flaw is a big part, alongside the motivation and the backstory. Personally, I've got huge respect for characters who can go above and beyond, reaching painfully cringe level for the sake of good, assuming they have a good reason to do so—after all, they are also a human first.
However, I find it a great shame that often times they are written boring, dull, one-dimensional, and lacking depth; sometimes just pretentious. Also, I've seen enough people tend to portray them as dumb, for some reason?

Of course, how likable a character is entirely subjective.

Luoir got a sister and traumatised her with feet licking, I'm now her therapists. The vegetable turned itself into food. The blade talked abou avoiding being a good teacher and protagonist. Azure is as stabby as ever, was hyped on eating the vegetable and had with matchas lackey and arcadia a talk about morality and heroism. I just intruded sometimes in the conversation.

Indeed, the only important thing is how compelling and likable a character, morality is nothing but a factor of compellingness and likability, the same goes for every other aspect of an character.
I know it's quite uneventful.

Just don't ask where I got them.

Thank you! I'll grow some good cucumbers for pickling for you!

Yeah, the hard thing about writing a compelling character with flaws, is there might be something very cringey they say. I remember writing a part of Vampire Princess and cringing so hard because of what was being said, but it turned out, that was only me. Other people loved it.
