How far along is your story?

My story is maybe 5 percent done. The good thing today is that I released a new chapter today.

Just posted the 32nd chapter for all four stories I'm working on. So that's about... 64000 words each?
I think I'm about halfway for all of them. But because I'm a bit of a pantser, stuff keeps cropping up that I don't expect and I've just got to roll with it...

I'm at chapter 98 overall, and I think there are about 10 to 20 chapters left to finish the second volume.
The end could be a real ending because I have a desire to write something else.
Right now, I'm struggling a lot and dragging myself through it.
It's really a part I wanted to write, but there are too many characters and too many knots to untie.
Each chapter has become a chore, and I'm losing consistency.

Why don't you take a small break from the story?

I posted the 14th chapter a few days ago and I'm like halfway through the first arc. Got the 15th chapter on draft, still not edited. I got no chapters written yet other than the 15th chapter(Damn, procrastination!...and school!)

Currently 72 chapters overall. I think it's about 2/5ths done? Going off my planning anyway.

My other story is only 44 chapters along (It also has shorter chapters), and I think it's only 1/8th done. This could go up or down.

True true. Also where I get a lot of my ‘system’ mechanicals from. I spent like a month making a whole system because I could. And I used a based one for it so, but that was fun, but the water bill is a thing

Currently, stopped at over chapter 400, I have to stop because of many circumstances. It's tough to catch up and write more chapters about it now.

Mixed feelings on my part thus far my story has started to shift into a more serious drama tone now after the newest chapter included the tertiary characters origin background. It was a very tragic one which also hinted toward a previous route that was never taken but always there.

The tldr of the hint is that she's a cursed werewolf and she revealed that a way to get rid of the curse is to pass it on by biting someone else. I'm hoping people look into that, because from her very introduction she has had the opportunity to bite the MC but never did.

Anyways, last week's chapters have been slow on views and likes. School just started up again so I changed my publish schedule around it. I have yet to get any new comments aside from three fans I say mixed feelings because I'm making progress, but I'm an ambitious girl who wants to reach for the stars! Plus, it helps to know that people are enjoying my work. I think readers don't realize how much their comments can motivate the writer to continue their work.

It's mostly good news really, I'm doing well and my story is doing well. Just want to see more progress!

Maybe you should take a break, as you do, but research for the story and brainstorm, when you have the time? Even 5 minutes per day will keep you in the story world.

I think readers don't realize how much their comments can motivate the writer to continue their work.

This x 100. I have a few regulars, who often comment on the chapters and it's always so fun to see Myself, I used to be the quiet reader that doesn't really talk, but now, after experiencing the other side, I'm trying to comment more often.
