OOC: DOne~
IC: "Thank you may you find peace and tranquility in your life." AIEO proceeds to walk away contendetly.
I think you can use the Tavern for that btw.
Hmm... must we write how we arrived on this world?
Must is a strong word... I put it on Nene's backstory, but I don't think it's a necessity.

Try using the OOC Room for this kind of reply, in order to not clutter the thread with chat and stuff~

And no worries, it happens~

OOC: No need to read the story(unless you're curious) It's just foundation on how Iris will interact on future quests.

My heart felt warmed when I read that.
Also, why not post those story bits in the freestyle rp thread?

Mainly the things that Nahrenne mentioned, they were in a recent report from Ohko.

Let me see if I can find them, give me a sec.

Glad you liked it.

I never really considered using the freestyle rp since I wanted to justify future events on their interactions. Maybe I’ll use it in the future if I want(or not) interactions with others when they go solo during their breaks.

Well, if that's the case, do what you feel comfortable with!

Thoughts? @ohko
These look good! If you’re up for it, it’d be great if you started drafting them up into quests.

My main feedback is:
  • Bump up the level 1 quests to maybe 2-4. Spire Reef is supposed to be more dangerous than Scribel City, so the quests should reflect that.
  • Rank D promotion exam needs something that will be character development milestone. The current ones are too trivial and too easy to pass with standard plot armor. The theme for Rank D promotion is:
    • Sacrifice
    • Loss
    • Failure
    • Death of allies/friends
    • Loss of innocence
I don’t want any character to pass the Rank D exam without feeling a major sense of loss or defeat. The exam should be structured in a way that forces a metaphorical defeat for the character, even if they have a nominal victory.

Basically, I’m looking for something emotionally heavier / darker. Ideas could include exploring themes like betrayal, pushing your character to do something evil/dark or

I'm finally back! Will be trying to come up with some plot for the Spire Reef.
See above! Glad to see what people come up with!

@GM, I'll restart Meiko, I guess. I'm not picturing it right. Should I post a new character sheet?
Up to you!

Btw, I think it would be a good idea to remove the pre-requisite for the D-rank mission.

Like... It is a suicidal mission in an emergency situation that will only take volunteers... I don't think they can afford to be picky and only choose those that already had their training in advance.

It would make more sense to me if it didn't require the initial training.
