I think they're tough questions!

I'd love to see each of them as new regions, but I'm unwilling to open new branches unless there's a clear reason why the City / Guild would find a significant benefit to it.

It's clear that we apparently have a non-interventionalist faction, and they need to be convinced before the City Council is willing to move forward.

The challenge here is coming up with regions that are sufficiently interesting (from a Quest Board perspective) enough yet also pressing enough for the City to act. For instance, I can't really think of a reason for the guild to open a branch in a peaceful human town with a setting just like Scribel City. On the other hand, I don't think there were any obvious benefits stated with Fuyu Machi and the Lizardmen -- and it's unclear what Scribel City would gain from having a branch in either of these locations.

The Halfwing Federation idea was based on the idea that maybe Scribel would work together with the Rebels to stop the Holy Human Empire from breaking past the Black Mountains -- and spilling over right next to Scribel's borders -- but it seems like many characters weren't convinced.

*wonders why no one is mentioning the crossroads tavern and the possibility of establishing a relationship with the people there and using it as a branch guild building, thus allowing more contact between the non-humans residing further up the road, as well as allowing for more exploration of the other roads*

Hmm, I think the quest board there would be a little sparse?

I kind of envisioned it as an inter-region area. It's not really close enough to any particular region, but it also borders a lot of regions.

What kind of quests would you see being issued there?

Well, things like:
- Investigate the crossroads tavern and its purpose for being there
- Establish a relationship with the crossroads tavern to provide discounted room and board for guild members travelling nearby
- Explore the various roads and find out what locations they lead to
- Set up a way station to keep an eye on the situation with the empire and halfwing federation
- Investigate the halfwing federation
- Investigate the empire
- Establish a relationship with the federation if deemed beneficial for the guild and Scribel City
- Establish trade routes between crossroads tavern, federation, empire and Scribel City

Etc...

Those are just some ideas off the top of my mind.

I am kinda looking forward to locations with a more demanding rp lock/restrictions on quests.. like underwater city quests that you cant go on unless you have a potion of water breathing... or something like that.

A lot of those sounded like temporary quests.

For a regional quest board, hopefully there would be some permanent repeating quests (similar to the kind at Scribel City or Gelderholm), like Slime Hunting.

if I am shepherding the lizard men and silm king quest to an ultimate end of a raid, what level raid would be for slimeking, lizard superman/ or any alternate boss being?

It depends on how you decide to make it?

The registration thread has a decent illustration of various power levels.

I wonder... if horde is gone... there mightl be a restoration project quest, maybe building a fort..

if slimes are pacified.. there could be a slime ranch...

I kinda want to look for a 3rd options tho, something that surprises everyone..

I see it as an amalgamation of both, since the world has portal gates from lots of other worlds in it.
