"Oh... That is quite troublesome, even if one has good intentions, stealing should not be the way to go about it.

"That said, tracking people and investigating their whereabouts are not skills that I have any expertise in. May I suggest you issue a quest for the guild to look the case over? There are adventurers that are much better than I am at handling those matters."

"Ah nevermind then." I was still too poor to afford issuing a quest so I thought of something else while shelving the idea for later.

"Maybe a tour of the city when your free later?" I think I have a decent sense of direction but I wanted to make allies in this brave New world.

... I don't think that 2 hours is a day through. Guess I'll have to deduct some of your rewards. Next time, please pay attention to the quest's objective!

I put too much trust into the demon receptionist as I nodded "Thanks for giving me something though, even though I did the task wrong."

"Just 1 more quest! Then I'll be done for today I think." Though I was also thinking of doing the night-shift office work to compensate for doing so little earlier this morning.

'A Unknown black Entity that resembles a little girl entered the Tavern timidly & quietly!'



She is the one that terrorized the plaza for 2 days & vanished suddenly, only to submit days later a quest report, that she found a home out of nowhere!.... Who gives this thing a home?... God who knows!

She is Reciful or so she called herself, the nightmarish tentacles girl from head to tip. But a huge change can be seen compare before.

The aura of Fear is much bearable, countless extra Red eyes & mouth present before is now nowhere to be seen, seem like she hides it. In general She is much much more human like &'acceptable' than before.


Reciful all while holding a large wooden sign with her Tendrils along with a 'Round Rainbow colored slime' atop of her head making a adorable 'Suuu~♪Suuuu~♪' sounds.



Reciful pass a piece of paper to the waitress of the tavern



*Reciful wants 1 cooked meat, 1 Egg & 1 drink pls!! * Written in the paper.. looks like She is ordering food(??)



Then as if trying to make herself get noticed by fellow costumers in the tavern, Reciful hold her Large wooden sign above her head as her black tendrils wiggles pointing on the written massage on the sign.



""Reciful is looking for where all ugly bad slimes is. Cuz they bullied Reciful friend! Pls tell Reciful the place so Reciful can murder them~"


On her large wooden sign said so, written in a clumsy way as if done by a child... Is message of vengeance against all slime race!!!....... well except for the cute slime atop her head.

"Little girl, the slimes are usually outside of the city, or in the sewers. Not only the slimes but most of the monsters." The exotic appearance made Luna felt curious. Although there was some invisible mental pressure when looking directly at the horror's face, Luna was able to withstand it as she had made quite a progress in her sorcery.

"Miss luna! Miss luna!" I ran into the tavern with a happy smile one my face "I can take in mana now! Though I can't even do anything with it as described in the 2nd half of the book I was able to get the 1st half down! I have at least a drop of mana in me now! I think..."

I nodded happily since I already knew that this was a marathon, not a short jog. "I'll make sure to master the second half by next week!" Since I worked a few jobs already I was thinking of going to bed, but I still needed to do that office quest again to make up for the mistake I made.....

Anyway I'll ask luna to learn from her again once I finished learning the second part of the book, I was only here to report my progress happily in case she thought I was a lazy student who was being fake or something. for now my goal's to get into a bigger place and increase my quality of life, all I ate today was 2 cups of soup and I had to clean my clothes with a bucket of water , thankfully the landlady gave me a place to dry the clothes and let me fill a large wooden basket with water from the well (I had to fill it and empty it myself) and a towel to wipe myself off.

Luna just disregarded the word Eldritch Abomination as a child's rambling, after all, the mythical entity that resided outside of the realm of known logic? How can this little girl be one of them?

Even more that, those things were just the mad rumbling of an insane grand sorcerer. Who would know the truth of the matter?
