Blue Lock definitely seems like bait. Yuri on Ice is shounen ai. Sk8 seems like it’s gonna get there eventually.

If you’re looking for an anime with lots of readers and fanfics tho, Haikyuu seems like a good option to get into. Imo it’s not bait, but the characters have really strong bonds and ‘come in pairs’ so it’s easy for the fandom to latch onto something and see more than what the anime shows
