Anyone have any turns of phrase they’re particularly fond of?

Personally my favorite is probably “Though it had never been said in so many words……” for describing an unwritten rule/common knowledge. I think it rolls off the tongue very well.

They flew off the handle when I told them to stop handling their fly.
The snacking, horny, crazy fan goes 'n' nuts.
Let's see whether these work. Not as good as yours, @RepresentingEnvy , but I tried.
