@AliceShiki @LazyLonduf Does the orphanage have a religious symbol, and is it ok if my character repairs the walls, floors, roof, and or maybe the windows?
As far as I'm aware, the orphanage is just the orphanage, without any religious symbols, but some cults (like the pickled god cult) donate to them.
I say go for it aaa, the kids will love it

So I'm making an ornamental knife. Sweet. Nevermind not enough silver. Would you settle for a shield symbol?

I feel like a shield symbol is quite militaristic for an orphanage. Though I don't know the meaning of the symbolism in the context of your character's past.
... Adsall also decided to use his remaining silver and amethyst to make a symbol for the orphanage. Due to his limited resources, Adsall decided to use one of his iron shields and coat it with the silver. He drew a line separating the shield into 4 parts. In the top left he engraved in a knight on a horse, he made the knight's lance's head out of an amethyst shard. In the top right corner he engraved in a mage, whos wand had a amethyst shard engraved in it. On the bottom right he drew a castle. Putting an amethyst crystal into the watch tower. On the bottom left he drew a nun. He added the shard to the nun's necklace.
This one right? Or is it just the seal of a dwarf? It feels more like the symbol of a barracks or a knight camp than an orphanage. What do y'all think? @AliceShiki @Obscura_Luna

I just chose a shield cus i had spare iron shields left from my character. And I meant the shield as in protecting the children :sweating_profusely: . I feel a sword is more militaristic by a long shot.

Also this is what I meant when I said I split the shield into 4, and engraved a pattern into each one.

The engravings arent the ones above though. They're meant for the kids. I mean Knights, Mages, Castles are cool right? Theres even a nun in there.
They aren't even fighting at all.

Yes i gotchuuu
yeah its fine im just saying a knight a mage a castle and a nun looks more like the emblerm of a kingdom or a private army than an orphanage XD
But shields are cool too, maybe the engravings could like chadge into symbols of children or something!
Oam will probably get confused when she returns to the orphanage "wait did i get the wrong house"

I think it's good as it is. Maybe it will make the orphans (who we can name some of them later on) look up at the adventurers and also wants to become one when they grow up. Or maybe it can lead to them wanting to try their luck, feeling they can survive the forest, and failed to do so. Maybe it can lead to rescue mission. Who knows?

Michuema will probably enter the orphanage, surprised at the sudden condition of the orphanage and then asked the caretaker about it.

I can edit the text, the quest hasn't been evaluated yet.
Any Images in mind? I'll replace the Knights and Mages and Castle With Some Kids Playing, A Small Cottage, and [Insert Idea]

Nothing as far as I know except Luna experienced some horror-fest and lost a lantern in it. Here is the report.
yesss i remember that one, the one that might have lead to the golden-rose organization yes?
im just thinking if oam should take up the graveyard job for some bucks, but it seems a little scary.

It's the one that you divined the clue about its connection with Luna. Whether or not it had the connection with Golden Rose, that was still a mystery. :blob_wink:

If it was me id just do it when the orphanage is finally up and running fine
imo i think it's alright to keep that shield for now, it could be fun material to write about. we can discuss it later, no rush

Adding to that, I think it matters more if the symbolism means something to your character. If knights and mages mean orphanage in a half-dwarf i mean, i can roll with that
