How would you write their experience? This is basically another bonding moment where they grow closer. Do I describe what happens during the concert like dance or nod to the rhythm?

Is the k-pop concert important to the story or is it just an event they go to?

You kill them and write other characters that aren't K-pop fans.

Serious answer: like in most other "memorable" situations you focus on your character's words, thoughts, and behavior. If one character is dancing like no tomorrow and the other is just nodding along or something describe how they try to (avoid) getting drawn into the beat. If both characters dislike the music (as people with taste should) then show how they bond over criticizing how (rightfully) terrible the musicians are. If they're both having fun and like the music (*barf*) then describe how they go from "shocked by getting into contact" to "actively dancing" or something.

It really depends on where you want to focus on; Characters getting physical? Characters learning they don't have the same taste in music and (don't) care? Both just having fun? Both having fun together? Bonding over hating K-pop like normal human beings?

It depends. If the scene is important to the story, as in it shows the growth of their relationship, then you can describe the scene in details. But be sure to put the focus on the two, not on the concert.

You can also have one character be really into the concert itself, like jumping up and down. Then you can have the other one watching them be passionate. You can also have the situation where the enthusiastic person pulls the other one in, and gets them more into it.

I would say as long as you focus on the characters. We the readers want to see their connection over the concert more than the concert itself.

An event they go to.
just treat it like other stuff they do then. What couples usually do on a date? even if the concert is not important to the story, is it important to at least one character? If so, how? Just don't be too hyper-focus on the fact that it is a concert. the couple just happened to be there.

As @BouncyCactus said, there, don't hyper-focus on the event in this case. Balance how important the event is with how important the situation is for both of them. In this case, you want to show what happens between them, and not the concert.

If it has to be a K-pop concert, I'm assuming someone has an interest in K-pop, why is that so? Explore how the characters have an interest in that, but do not forget that ultimately, you are exploring interpersonal relationships. And in interpersonal relationships, even if they get to see their idol, how the TPO (time, place and occasion) affects their interaction is important.

I don’t write romance, so why are these two people here? I dunno. Murder probably. But like, battle arena concert with two friends teaming up would be pretty cool.

There are many different ways, but I can share with you two methods I have used.

First method is the easiest, write from your personal experience. I went to kpop concerts before, so it was easy for me to write. If you haven't been to one, it's a bit of a culture shock. That in itself is interesting to write and read about.

Second, think about the bonding moments of your characters. They might both enjoy the concert and bond over shared interest. Or, they could have an entirely different experience, but learn to appreciate each other differences.

I wrote 2-3 chapters with the characters going on a date at a Cpop concert. It was fun.
