You make Mac&Cheese, then add chili powder, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, a spoonful of vinegar, and some soy sauce. Stir until everything is mixed. Had some earlier today and it was quite good.

Do you have any additions to common recipes?

I....
Remove the soy sauce before the asians riot at your house. Vinegar and Soy Sauce does not make a good time.
Only when you get the quantity right, I used 5 drops.

Teriyaki/Soy Sauce/Sesame Oil drizzled over most meals at the end, or in some way incorporated into it during cooking, like fried chicken, etc. Always used it for BBQs, but if you want something more weirder, my family likes to use coke or sprite + soy sauce as marinate for chicken before a BBQ.

Idk how, but it tastes great. Although, I'm probably the last person that can judge what's good food or not because I pair lasagna with rice.

Egg, after heating up the oil, crack the egg and put it in the hot pan, let it cook for a minute, and add some salt for flavor then done.

Hold up, not done yet. Prepared some Ketchup, Mustard, Soy Sauce, Mayonnaise, Pepper Powder, and Breadcrumbs and mixed it well, and now I have a dipping sauce called "Idk what the hell is this abomination"

Wait whaaa.... Whenever my grandma does that it tastes terrible. Maybe she used fish sauce instead of soy sauce. Idk since I can't read the label
Ack! Fish sauce is different from soy sauce.

Try the Adobo using Vinegar and Soy Sauce.

Here's how to do it:

5 cloves of garlic, crushed and minced
1 onion, minced
chicken
potatoes, cubed (optional)
pepper
bay leaves (just 1-2 is fine, optional)
1 ladle full of soy sauce
1 ladle full of vinegar
1 cup of water (another cup is optional)

1) Sautee garlic till golden brown.
2) Sautee onion with the garlic for 20 seconds.
3) Sautee the potatoes.
4) Add the chicken.
5) Add the pepper.
6) Add the vinegar, soy sauce and water. Let everything cook for 45 minutes minimum in low heat (one hour is recommended).
7) Once the chicken is cooked, add bay leaves.
8) This step is optional. You can add water (gradually) for a 'saucy' adobo, or you can let the sauce dry up slowly (but not completely so as to avoid burning the chicken).

Note: water is added so as not to make the dish way too salty. Too much soy sauce will overpower the vinegar, and vice versa.

There are some recipes that add sugar to the dish, and yes, it tastes good too. Any case, sugar is optional (and gradually added). Up to your taste buds on whether to add or disregard it.

Also, don't add cilantro and jalapeno. Don't listen to Western chefs trying to cook it. lol

@Hans.Trondheim, I am stealing your recipe and posting it on my recipe giveaway thread.

Just letting you know so that you aren't caught off guard.

I like to add Nacho Cheese Doritos to my sandwiches. If I'm feeling sassy, I add Cool Ranch flavored ones.
