@ohko any idea about the biome of the mountainous region? Like is it snowy, rocky or green?

...didn't we just describe that region in our group quest? I believe the only quests in which any adventurers have gone to the mountains is the one we're writing right now and the time Felicia went to Gem's Ravine? (I apologize if I'm horribly wrong about this)

After briefly looking over the map and greeting each other at the northern gate of Scribel City, the party saddled up their horses and started heading towards the river. Well, in actuality there was only one horse that they rented from the guild, as Felicia was the only one that knew how to ride one. She was in charge of the reins of the horse whilst Vor sat behind her and Vicious chose to use her superhuman speed to keep up with them as they rode.
On a random side note, horses don't walk faster than people actually... Or rather, their walking speed is actually slower IIRC.

The main benefit of riding a horse for long voyages is that you get much less tired than you would if you were carrying your luggage yourself while walking. (because riding a horse is also about as tiring or more than walking)

Of course horses are faster while galloping though.

... Ah, and I believe there was a specific way that you could train a horse to make them walk semi-fast while moving in a way that didn't tax the rider much, but that requires a very specific training to the horse that took a long period of time to show results.

... Not that anybody really cares about those details though, I just remember searching about horses and travel time some time back to make stuff for NUF's version of AG~

Also on a random side note, has anyone considered making an ore tier list? Basically eg: A Iron sword is better than a copper one due to material.
If not I'd like to contribute to one.
Weak - Strong:
Copper, Tin, Iron, Bronze, Steel

Wonderful!!! :blob_aww::blob_aww::blob_aww::blob_aww::blob_aww::blob_aww::blob_aww::blob_aww:

Do people want to give suggestions for repeatable guild quests in the Gelderholm region?

Levels 5 - 12 approximate range!
First thing that comes to mind is delivering supplies. As they now made a deal to exchange herbs for weapons, someone will need to carry those things back and forth... And it probably won't be the dwarves that are directly faced with a dangerous threat and have short legs.

Another would be related to studying Hydra's Poison perhaps? To try making more efficient treatment methods and what not.

Oh, and another one could be trying to find herbs and food that is resilient to Poison and can be grown even in the environment under the Hydra's attack.

As someone whose knowledge of smithing comes entirely from Runescape, I can confidently say that I am absolutely and completely unable to help with that~

I haven't seen any mention of tin in the reports as of yet, so I'm not sure

as for stronger alloys, there is titanium and chromium. There is also tungsten, but at that point, we're reaching unmoldable territories

Sounds good, although I think we would have to consider how "permanent" of an issue the hydra will be.

If the idea is keep it around as a semi-permanent threat, then I'm comfortable will making a whole series of Quest Board items focused on hydra-related things. Otherwise, I think it's preferable to keep temporary threats to Custom Quests.

I'm also thinking a mine is extremely reasonable in the dwarven city.

This is a RL comment, but Tin is actually extremely rare and quite low melting point.

It actually only takes trace amounts of tin alloyed with copper to make bronze.

Copper alone is a bit too soft for swords. Think of pennies being smushed in a penny roller.
