Write a smut novel and it will explode with people reading it, make it very hot that they get boner while reading.
I’m too innocent for smutWrite a smut novel and it will explode with people reading it, make it very hot that they get boner while reading.
i wanted to add to this, there is one AI i've found that is actually quite useful: AI Readers. Readers will read as you've written word for word, including spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. If you read along with it, it can help you catch issues that you might not have seen otherwise. This won't take it to the polished gem we all know it could be, but it can take it a long way from the lump of coal most first drafts are.Use grammar checkers. Don't bother with AI, though, their editing doesn't hold water. Still, if that helps you start writing, then use that!
For the record, smuthub is a myth.I’m too innocent for smut
I know, I don’t really care about what’s popular tho, i write what i like and make it as good as i possibly canFor the record, smuthub is a myth.
Smut is popular here, yes.
Smut is not the most popular genre nor the only way to get popular, no.
The most popular genres are action and adventure by a pretty large margin.
Don't let anyone dissuade you by talking about smut. There is a huge myth in these forums that has been debunked multiple times about how smut is the only way to get popular... It's not. Don't let others fool you into thinking that.
Oh wow, i just tried this for my latest chapter and it worked like a charm! Hearing my writing being read out loud really helped me with the editing-process. This is actually detrimental. If you write WN and want to get popular you should write a long story. The best thing you can do to enchant your story is to finish it.
If you want to write for the fun of it, it won't matter if you write long stories. Writing to length can kill a story. When the ending comes, you know. You start typing faster, breathing faster. And, honestly, those who come for one of your stories can pick up your other ones. It happens to me all the time. This is actually detrimental. For becoming popular/successful, yeah. I've seen a ton of stories and Patreons take off because they existed at the right time in the right place despite the writing quality being average or even subpar.Luck is the most critical factor in success in practically every area of your life. You and I must keep writing popular stuff we like, the best we can, hope for the best, and wait for our moment. We are at the right place. We only need the right time. At least that is what i believe.
Let the griefers grief! I want to dream big! I love writing and I would love it even more if my stories were recognized by everyone on this site. I'll just pray that there will be more people who like my story than there will be who grief it :DI think everyone has said what needs to be said, but allow me to add: you really sure you want to trend? Coz when you're up there, you'll surely attract everyone, including griefers.
The topic of the thread is "How to push growth? Or how to hit trending?" Even if you disagree that author get more views when writing a long story, you can't disagree that trending is only for works that aren't finished. So, finishing a story is detrimental if you try to answer the two questions in the title of the thread. If you say that finishing a story is good for a different reason I might agree with you, but it is completely irrelevant to the topic. If you want to write for the fun of it, it won't matter if you write long stories. One of the questions is about growth. And growth has different forms. But you do have a point when it comes to the second question. The topic of the thread is "How to push growth?
