What use is Muzan power ?

So i finsished demon slayer for some time now but i can't help but wonder, what use for Muzan extra heart and brain ?

Im pretty sure having 1 or two brain won't help make him smarter, maybe he can memorize stuf better but beside that i can't think of much.



And what does his 7 heart supose to do, i belived demon in Demon slayer universe does have a beating heart, a fast heart beat could make you react as if the world is slowling down so 7 heart could give Muzan a bullet time affect.

I'd say it's the classic He's Got More So He's Stronger move. Like with angels' wings, or magic circles, or number of horns, or basically whatever. It's weirdly common in fiction, that the only thing that really changes as power increases is the number of somethings without any explanation why or how it happens and affects the character. Just that here it's used a little differently, not to show growth, but to show he's inherently stronger somehow.

I read the whole Demon Slayer manga, and I didn't see any reason why he would have more brains and hearts and what benefits it would bring. At the very least, it wasn't explicit enough for me to notice - which does say a lot about the effects of that, because fundamentally the author could have said he was just abnormally strong and I don't think it would have made a meaningful difference.

In theory, biologically, yes, having more brains and hearts has massive benefits. I could list out some if you want. Plot-wise though, no. For me it's just an unnecessary gimmick with little to no effect on the story, not helped in how it's presented.

having two brains means if you destroy one, he can still move around while the other heals. Seven hearts also means you can't crush his heart and destroy his blood flow for a bit, though I'm not sure if either of those affect demons
