My hair is long and a natural brown. Occasionally I get an old lady compliment me on it, but it’s ordinary enough that I’ve never had many comments. Braids are nice to control it for work, and I also sometimes just let it down and be what it will be. If I’m really trying, I’ll use a curler or waver on my hair, or for Halloween use a non-permanent hair spray dye.
In regards to other people’s hair, I never say anything bad about it because my tastes aren’t everyone’s tastes. I also admire people who branch out and get different styles/colors. I just couldn’t handle the stigma at work and I would be driven crazy if I couldn’t exactly color match it to my outfit lol. I’ve considered getting fashion wigs if I ever actually manage to take time off and go to a festival or something
