I was walking down the road to my work and someone zooming down the road turned their window and down and shouted “I LIKE YOUR HAIR!!!” before zooming off. HAhAhAH!! What da fuq!

I was at this random library, and this old bald guy walked up and asked “Did your barber do your hair recently?”
“Nooo… my parents did it???”
“Well, I was asking because if they had, you should head back and get your money back”
*polite laughter*
I didn’t know whether to admire his willingness to tell his thoughts as he saw things, laugh at the sheer gall and stick my tongue out at him, or be annoyed!!! What do you guys think of this moment?

What are some hair-dos and hair-don’ts for you all? What are some of your opinions on these instances?
I have a LOT of memories with my hair. Started a friendship, a couple crushes, questions, compliments, complaints, and lectures.

My opinion is to make sure you look good for yourself before caring what others think. If you receive compliments that is a good thing. You can ask opinions of other people about your hair, but you are the decider of your own style. Someone will like it or hate it no matter what.

I am a bit envious of people with cool hair. Mine is kind of boring, just relatively short and black. I don't like growing it out because it is too much of a bother.

I have no knowledge in hair styles, so I leave my complete trust in my barber. Though if I have to say, my current hair style looks kinda like Jason Todd, which I am happy about.

I honestly don't give a shit about what people think of my hair. I let it grow, I gave a barber shorten it, and repeat endlessly. Wearing my ballcap is as close to combing my hair as I grt

I used to have long hair. It was black, smooth, thick, and soft to the touch. Some of my female friends would touch my hair and express their jealousy of having such beautiful hair. For some reason, they also loved to braid my hair.

Some of my experience with long hair involved being jokingly flirted by my friends who suddenly grab my (slim) waist and asked to a date before shocked that I was a man. They also comment things like 'if you cover your arms, you'd look like a girl of my dreams', etc etc.

There's a rule in Turkey that won't allow men to use female-like hairstyle, and vice versa.

It's quite controversial for humans from Western countries, and I'm not saying you should agree or anything as your sense freedom would just disagree anyway

But,

you can take a look at the allowed hairstyle list to see which one is considered normal or good by society or even goverment depending on female/male gender.
