Is there a letter that you are biased towards when naming characters? I find myself biased towards the letter E. What I mean is that most of my protagonists will have a name that starts with E. Does letter bias plague your names?

Like this? "Æ"
Well, that's how it reads, but it can be either. I was thinking of 'ae' as in Maeve, but you can replace it with that thing I can't write cause I'm writing on a keyboard and it'll make no difference.

L is often in the middle of names I make
I have started a few names with "En" for characters: Enala, Enora, and Envy. There are other characters who also get the E treatment: Elaina, Elenore, Evelynn, Ethora, etc. It is like Elon Musk's obsession with the letter X.

Don't put yourself down like that. You aren't a failure if you have failed at something. Instead of calling yourself a failure it is more beneficial to your mental health to say that you failed at a task. If you consider yourself a failure, it justifies your reasons for stagnation. "I don't have to do x, y, and z because I am a failure." Even if it doesn't do that to you specifically, it isn't good for you.

Thank you.

Also, I might be a manipulative asshole who sells himself as a poor bastard to garner pity.

Think of me as a leech to positivity instead of the economy.
JD? Someone might like medical sitcoms...
Err. No.

Either J or D. JD sounds a bit too close to some people I know IRL.

You could be exactly that, but I don't think you are.
You see good in everyone.

Whelp, my man-o-pause is flipping again and funnily my fourth model is, so far, running nicely. I'm going to see when it's going to cripple itself just like its brethren.

Edit: It fudged now.

Mine is E as well, "El" more specifically.

I sometimes give them names like "Elara", "Elie", "Elustria", etc. all the time until I noticed almost all of the names in my story starts with "El". I've since changed them all during editing so there's no "El" in sight in my story... I think.

It is easy to see the good in people when I have seen the bad in myself. When I have been at my worst there was still someone to see something good in me.

As for this, I have now idea what this means. :blob_uwu:
