Yes, that Logan feat is what makes him badass. You just reminded me that people I don't like like Aizen tough so forget the Aizen comment.
Lol, am I included in that group too?

Jokes aside, know any works involving anyone that can blind or deafen people at will?

In DnD there are the spells for those, so I was half expecting people to use magic for it.

Until I recall sleep exist and total incapacitation is lit.

Yes I know that the blind guy in Bleach has this as his bankai. Yes I know that the first thing that come into my mind is porn. Yes I know that IRL sensory deprivation, especially forced, is a form of torture with CIA lovingly use it with claustrophobic spaces.

The reason why I flagged this thing is because one of the new villains in the pool of CN works has this superpower and he loves using it on a bunch of people while isolating them. He would take away all but one sense (traditional five senses, sight, sound, smell, taste and touch) and watch the people go mad. The ones that can taste will eat anything while those left with touch will try their darnest to feel something. He will on purpose let those who can still see watch his victims descend to insanity helplessly.

Of course he calls them his playthings/ slaves. So yeah, the sudden sexual thoughts from yours truly.

Stripping one's senses is too focused and only designed for torture instead of the standard power of Strength, Fireball and Mind Control. So I was wondering if there are other works out there that featured such power being used alot.
Okay may I ask out of curiosity. what the actual fuck are CN authors mind on? Just reading this makes me wonder why...

Basically said villain is the enemy of mankind with reality warping capability.

MC is Superman x Hulk.

Oh... I still do not get why but I think I have a gist of the situation
Further explanation.

Said villain is "supposed to be an undying god", but his "body" is about to get turned into minced meat ashes (cuz MC punch hard and fast and fast is heat), so the villain wants to (kinkily) torture MC by stripping all his senses but touch.
I don't. But I also don't care so it's fair I guess
You do you.

I just want to know if you got sauce on other similar types.

But seeing how this banter is on, the answer is no.

I FOUND A LIST! One each for removal and deprivation, I'll give links for both.

Sense removal powers (not deprivation) are used by:
  • The Epidemic (Perfect Sense)
  • The "White Sickness" (Blindness); vision only
  • Kaname Tōsen (Bleach); via Suzumushi Tsuishiki: Enma Kōrogi
  • Grimlocks (Charmed); vision only
  • Kyouka (Fairy Tail)
  • Enrico Pucci (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part VI: Stone Ocean); via Whitesnake
  • Virgo Saints (Saint Seiya); via Tenbu Hōrin
  • Gemini Saga (Saint Seiya)
  • Seiichi Yukimura (The Prince of Tennis)
I would almost count Tousen out because his is more "I'm going to deprive you until one of us is dead or the battle is over" rather than full on removal. I'd also say that "The Epidemic" doesn't count since it's a disease and not a person, but that's me.

Here's the link for removal: https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Sense_Removal#Known_Users
and for deprivation: https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Sensory_Deprivation#Known_Users

Holy shit. Thanks.

Ps. In sensory deprivation user, Guillaume Vasil from Worm was listed but his powers were emotion manipulation. Grue on the other hand (from same series) generates a dark cloud that blocks sight and sound, so yes, it is still blocking the senses, just from the outside though.

That's a kink my guy
Yup. Like a show of power to deprive people.

Yes it is a bloody kink.

I just thought that hmm, why isn't this kinky ass ability more commonly used in eroge and R18 novels.

Turns out, hypnosis is a far better skill. Making an extradimensional room is a far better skill. Charm/ Mind Control is a far better skill. To hell, x ray is a far better skill.

It is the same reason why BDSM isn't a common skill, because it isn't a skill/ superpower material. It is a prop. Just like sensory deprivation.

The only time sensory deprivation is an OP skill is when one is already better than their opponent.

What about pressure. Even without the sense of touch one can feel something pressing on them. Or pain. We have a bit non-senses that are senses
