Signatures and general advertising

Hey! New here and coming from RR. I've noticed you can make signatures, but every time I try to upload my cover (hosted on Imgur), it says that it can't be uploaded as it's likely 'spam-like' or 'inappropriate'. Is there any way around this?

Also, glad to make everyone's acquaintances. The forums seem really welcoming and I'm excited to interact. Do you guys just all sort of talk, or is there advertising going on too? I'm used to just having a separate forum thread dedicated to that, how does it work here?

Post more to get that New Member title kicked off of you. I think it might be sooner but i know 50 does the trick as thats when you get custom titles.

SHF is coded to assume anything a newbie uploads is spam. This is to aid in the prevention of DOSing by bots.

When you have enough posts it'll stop flagging as spam.

The forum has a variety of denizens, some more serious than others. Some have more fun than others, too.

Pretty much. I forget the precise detail, but image uploads in general, custom forum titles are definitely among them.

Im sure another helpful individual (I said HELPFUL, don't make me reduce you to ash...) can elaborate on the finer points.

I will make sure to do that (although those guys are pretty nice). Also what a cute tsundere. Thanks for the advice though! Just as an extra, I've already gotten a message from someone asking to post on their platform. How often do people come across scams on this site.

even although this is my second account on SH, i've never been a part of the true SH forum, but oh boy i wish to dive into this nerve-tickling blood-boiling toxic liquids-dripping atmosphere
but it feels like i have been bathed in holy water as a kid so now i can't enter the true SH forum territory
