So I was reminded of apple pie earlier and decided that I wanted to share the recipe (after people rightfully admitted that werewolves are awesome) for both the pie and the dough so that more people get to taste this dessert! I got the dough recipe from the internet a few years back and the pie is from the family recipe box but it's not like anybody I know is selling the pie so I figured it's cool to share (because I'm the only one to use it anyways)

Elise's Pie Crust

2 1/2 cups flour + extra for rolling
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, very cold, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (I just go ham on the knife and get em small, no need for science here)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
6-8 tbsp ice water

1. mix flour, sugar and salt
2. add butter, half are a time and mix until the largest pieces are about the size of large peas
3. slowly add ice water and mix in each tablespoon until dough barely holds together (pinch it lightly)
4. separate the dough into 2 pieces and knead then shape them into balls
5. put the balls into CLINGWRAP or a sandwich bag and either freeze or refrigerate until use

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie
9 inch pre-baked pie crust (I reccomend mine)
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3tbs all-purpose flour
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
7 or 8 granny Smith apples- peeled, cored and sliced
some cinnamon

1. preheat oven 425
2. Deal with the apples and then shake cinnamon over em and stir it in
3. (you're making caramel now babeyyyy) melt butter in a saucepan, add flour to form a paste. Add water and both of the sugars and mix. Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce temp and let simmer
4. When the caramel (you made caramel babeyyy) is at a thick liquid state but still movable you pour it into the apple bowl and stir like your life depends on it
5. Place the mixture into the pre-baked apple crust and mound it slightly. Add a lattice top if you're feeling spicy
6. Bake 15 min in the preheated oven, then reduce heat until 350. Continue baking 35-45 minutes until apples are soft

And that's the recipe for a nice and tasty afternoon! If you want to add your own recipes feel free but this is me just throwing this into the forums for fun

Anon's Prime Rib recipe.

1 Prime Rib
1 Large pan oven safe.
Seasoning of your choice.

1. Take Prime Rib out of refrigeration and let sit on counter for at least 6-8 hours.
2. Season the Prime Rib outside all over.
3. Preheat oven to 425f while seasoning marinates.
4. Put Prime Rib in pan, and place in oven. Set timer to 5 minutes for every pound of prime rib that is on the pan.
5. Turn off oven after timer goes off, DO NOT OPEN OVEN.
6. Leave in oven for 3 more hours, the residual heat will cook the prime rib.

Aight, let me reciprocate with my own recipe.

Sola-sama's Karaage recipe:

Ingredients
- Boneless chicken thigh

Seasonings:
- Light soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Granulated mushroom bouillon (Optional)
- Salt (Optional)
- Potato Starch

Steps:
1. Cut 300 grams of boneless chicken thighs into bite-size, but not too small.
2. Put soy sauce (2 tbs) and oyster sauce (1 tbs) into the cut chicken, mix well.
(Granulated mushroom bouillon and a pinch of salt are optional).
3. Marinate for 30 mins.
4. Put potato starch, mix well with the chicken thighs.
5. Deep fry on high heat until it turned golden-brown.
6. Serve

This Karaage would be great if paired with mayo-egg sauce.
Here are the recipe:

1. Hard boil an egg.
2. De-shell the egg, add copious amount of mayonnaise and chili sauce.
3. Crush the egg and mix the mayonnaise and chili sauce together.

Enjoy your Karaage.

(If there's a chance that we meet irl, I would make this for you. I'd probably open up a Karaage shop if I have the capital.)

Right then, I'll share my non-stick pan egg fried rice. It can also be use with a wok (I have a wok but too lazy to use it)

Rhaps' Egg Fried Rice:

Ingredient:

One scoop of any type of ground meat (preferable pork or beef)

One egg (two if you want extra protein) (beaten)

Two scoop of day old rice.

Two red onions (if you are using the large version, then half) (diced)

One clove of garlic (diced)

Green onion (diced and seperate green and white parts)

Salt, pepper, and hot sauce of your choice (to taste)

And a high temperature oil

-Cooking:

Mix the eggs with salt and pepper, then put the rice into the mixture. Mix around and break the rice apart until every grain is covered with egg. Leave it there for at least 2 minutes.

Turn on the stove at high heat and put on uour prefered non stick pan. When the pan can evaporate a drop of water it is ready.

Put oil in and spread it over the pan, then turn the stove down to low heat. Then you fried the ground meat, make sure to break it apart while cooking.

After that, remove the meat into a separate bowl.

Now, add in the diced garlic, red onion, and the white part of the green onion, still on low heat. Until there is an aroma, remove them into a separate bowl.

Now, on high heat add in the rice and egg mixture, constantly mix around the pan so that the egg don't settle in. When it look like the egg is cooked, spread the mixture across the pan and leave it there on medium-high heat for around 1 minute, with the pan uncovered.

Then you add back in the ground meat, red onion, garlic, and green onion root. Along with your hot sauce of choice. Mix them around before spreading it and leave for another minute or two.

And finally, put your egg fried rice into a bow because if you do it right, it will be dry as fuck, and won't hold the mould.

Warning: like normal egg fired rice, this create a lot of steam from the rice so be careful around fire alarms.

Here's my cake recipe that even an incompetent idiot can make. I personally tested it. But you need an Bundt cake pan, or something of similar size.

3 eggs

2.5 water cups all purpose flour

One water cup sugar (white, brown, it doesn't matter)

Half a water cup vegetable oil, I prefer sunflower.

One water cup milk

10 grams of baking powder

8 grams of vanillin.

Preheat a furnace to 160 celcius degrees.

Now from that point you can literally add anything you want. Want your kids to eat fruits, just add some slightly cooked diced apples, pears, and if you feel fancy, oranges.

Want it chocolaty, then threw in a pack of cacao, or melted chocolate, or even chocolate chips if you feel fancy.

Or, you can just end it with adding some lemon zest, then topping it with powdered sugar, flaked almonds, and berries.

Now how to do it:

Warning: Electric mixer and a deep plastic bowl is adviced.

Mix eggs and sugar well.

Then add all the other ingredients, but one advice, put flour, baking soda, and vanillin through a mesh.

Mix everything well.

Brush inside of your cake pan with vegetable oil.

Add your batter, then throw that bad boy to furnace for 50 minutes, but you can start checking it after 40th minute using a toothpick. Remember, if toothpick can easily go to the bottom, then come out completely clean, that means food (most likely to be) not a failure.

After everything finished up, just let it rest for 15 minutes, then you can take it out of the pan.

So we sharing recipes now?

Ayt, lemme add:

Sauteed Mongo Beans

6 cloves of garlic, minced
1 bulb of onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, cut to squares (I recommend removing the pulp and seeds)
2 cups of mongo beans (green or yellow ones)
2 strips of pork belly, cut to strips (optional, you can substitute canned tuna for this)
1-2 cups of water (depending on how thick you'd like the dish)
A pack of pork rinds (optional)
Chillies (optional)
dash of salt to taste

Preparation:

Boil the 2 cups of mongo beans on 5 cups of water. Put a cup of water everytime the water level in the boiling pot is getting low (so it won't burn). Final product should made the mongo beans soft and easy to crush, and the water thick.

Crush the mongo beans into a soft mush.

Cooking Instructions

1). Sauteed garlic in oil until golden brown. Add the onion and sautee for 15 seconds. Add the tomatoes.
2). After 30 seconds, add the strips of pork (or canned tuna). Add the salt and water.
3). Make sure the pork is cooked, then add the mushed mongo beans and simmer in low heat. If the water is too thick, add a little water to avoid burning the dish.
4). Once everything is cooked, add the pork rinds and chillies (optional). Make sure the pork rinds are soft (absorbed water) before turning off stove.
5). Serve and eat, then die in heart attack as a result of high cholesterol. Well, at least you died with a smile in your face.

Trashy's favourite low-effort recipe for a cake thing:

half a cup of coconut oil at room temp
half a cup of coconut meal
baking powder and salt, a pinch each
6 eggs at room temp

separately mix dry and liquid ingredients together, then add them in a baking form, put it in an oven at 180 celsium and bake for around 40 to 50 mins.

EternalEscape's Noodles with Sweet Fish Sauce (Asian inspired) recipe. My guilty pleasure that I do not often share because I would get kick out of the respective property I'm standing on after saying the first sentence.

Ingredients (add 50% more for every extra packet of noodles):
    • 1 packet of instant noodles (your preferred flavor)
    • 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
    • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar
    • Vegetables of your choice (e.g., sliced carrots, cabbage, bean sprouts)
    • Optional toppings: sliced green onions, chopped cilantro, fried shallots
  • Instructions:
    1. Cook the instant noodles according to the instructions on the packet. Drain and set aside.
    2. In a small bowl, mix together the fish sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar until well combined.
    3. Heat a pan or wok over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.
    4. Add the vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes until they are slightly tender.
    5. Add the cooked instant noodles to the pan and pour the prepared fish sauce mixture over them.
    6. Toss everything together gently, ensuring the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
    7. Continue cooking for a few more minutes until the noodles are heated through and the flavors have melded together.
    8. Remove from heat and serve the noodles hot.
    9. Garnish with sliced green onions, chopped cilantro, and fried shallots if desired.
    10. Enjoy your homemade instant noodles with sweet fish sauce!
