Currently I am torn between Shostakovich’s collection of 24 preludes & fugues and Bach’s Art of fugue.

Here is a link to both:

I wanted to recommend Ludovico Einaudi's mesmerizing composition, "Nuvole Bianche," as a noteworthy piece of instrumental music that I believe deserves your utmost attention. This exquisite creation has recently crossed my path, and I feel compelled to share its profound beauty with fellow enthusiasts of the musical arts such as yourselves.

"Nuvole Bianche," which translates to "White Clouds," stands as a testament to Einaudi's virtuosity on the piano. With delicate precision, he weaves together a tapestry of melodies that evokes a sense of profound tranquility and serenity. Through the absence of lyrics, the composition allows for an immersive experience, where one can surrender to the captivating interplay of notes and embark on an introspective journey.

I wholeheartedly encourage each of you to set aside a moment of respite and indulge in the enchanting allure of "Nuvole Bianche." Whether you seek solace after a taxing day or yearn to explore the depths of emotional resonance, this composition possesses the ability to enrapture and uplift your spirit. It is a testament to the enduring power of music to stir our souls and evoke profound emotions.

May you find moments of sheer musical bliss as you embark on this sonic voyage.

With warmest regards, The Eternal Escape For One's Soul

Going for Valse Sentimentale by Tchaikovsky (inspirational), Merry Go Round of Life by Joe Hisaishi (comforting and makes me happy), anything by Danheim (Scandinavian passion), and the entire OST from "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" by Daniel Pemberton (though some songs there are sang in Old English or something). King Arthur OST is currently my most favorite OST in all of the cinema (after Hanz Zimmer's Lion King, Pirates and Inception because he's classic)

Valse Sentimentale is also very good.
Nostalgia.

I listen to a lot of Jazz/Smooth Jazz/Acid Jazz, so I really couldn't narrow it down to a list.

Stolen Moments by The Oliver Nelson Septet is one of my favourites though.
