Excuse you? Women married or not can wear what they please.
Well, of course they can. But can and should are two different things. Seems a lot of people don't understand that. I can steal from the bank, but I should not do it.

A person's choice in clothing is nothing like the act of stealing you really can't compare those two things.
The point wasn't the morality behind it. The point was the possible consequences of such actions from a social standpoint. I can't control what people will do or how they will react. Stealing from the bank, you can do it but social consequences include police and other forces coming after you.

A woman can dress however they want, but social consequences will occur of she dresses too provocatively. I won't be the one who says anything to them in public, nor will I even look at them, but I'm not going to be the one who rushes over to protect them if some other people bother them.

I just don't want to get involved. Just like if you were stealing from the bank, I don't want to get involved.

And why not?
Depends on what you mean by poly. If they're not doing anything physical, no one cares. If they are having sex though it's only not sin when it's done by husband and wife.

I disagree with you here see the person harassing the woman is the problem in not the woman herself. See if you say that she should deal with the consequences of dressing to provocatively then you give the people harassing her the right to decide if what she's wearing is acceptable or not.

I'll put it this way if a woman with a big set pulls on a comfy tee shirt and a pair of sweatpants and goes to get the mail some dingus may decide that because he can see them bounce she must be asking for it and give her a hard time and I don't think that's right.

Oh and I will call folks out for giving women a hard time because it's the right thing to do at least the way I see it it is.

We don't have the same religion friend and I don't see a problem with poly couples regardless of whether or not they are jumping in the sack with each other, so I suppose we are just going to have to disagree with each other here.

Actually I take back what I said. Having multiple partners even if you're not having sex might still be adultery. So still a sin.

And I suggest the same to you.
Wasn't going to happen anyway, I'm a happily married man who's been that way for the last 17 years and that isn't going to change for the rest of my life. But I'm not going to pester other people about their relationships either and I suggest you do the same.

Just how it goes sometimes.

Hmm. Let's phrase this a bit differently: A woman shouldn't dress that way because of public indecency, and it has societal implications. However, if a woman is in need of help, you are morally obliged to help. You can't use provocative dressing as an excuse to shirk moral responsibility.

Think of this from my perspective. I believe that if you repent for your sins you will gain eternal life and inherit the kingdom of God in paradise.

How much do I have to hate you to choose to not even attempt to save your soul just because I don't want to be mildly annoying?

Seaprecter introduces smut to the thread.
Anon starts talking about polyamory
I start proselytizing.

If you're going to do that, focus on the main issue instead of some side morals.

I can see it from your perspective however I've been around a while now and I have seen such utter cruelty from people who follow the same faith against all manner of people, including their own children, that I can't believe that there's no hate involved.

never said she was the problem for how she dresses. You’re just trying to frame this in a way that justifies your viewpoint.

The problem isn’t how she dresses, the problem is she doesn’t try to avoid problems on her own.

Besides, isn’t she a strong independent woman, she can handle the harassment on her own, no need for me to do anything about it.

Only time I will get involved is if I know the person being harassed and that is independent of how a woman dresses.

I don’t get involved with strangers anymore after almost being charged with harassment myself for trying to intervene on some assholes.

Seriously, fuck that. I’m not going to lose my career based on the whims of some girl who couldn’t give a fuck about me.
