It was a joke. When we say that @Anon2023 has an NTR fetish, it's a joke. I don't think calling someone a cuck is less insulting than calling someone a liar. But for some reason he doesn't get angry at everyone and say that forum is shit.

@forli Just to point out, even if I did have a NTR fetish, 90% on this forum would not care. They’re all too busy either writing or shitposting to worry about my personal likes and dislikes.

Things can get heated or emotional at times, but since the majority of people here are fictional writers (or aspiring to be), most are reasonable and understand not to take things too seriously since good fiction requires a malleable temperament.

If you don’t like this forum, that’s fine too. Not every group of people suits every person. People take things differently, most here can respect that. @RepresentingEnvy Doesn’t mean any harm by it, you can often see all the crap she does to make fun of me, also she didn’t even know me well before starting.

I'd like to add, I've been friends with some people I got into arguments before. @SailusGebel is one, but we ended up being close friends because we understand that at the end, respect begets respect.

But the thing is, you rarely appear here to chat with us about light-hearted topics. Also, I don't hold any grudges against you. Even though I might disagree on certain topics with you, or have different views, I won't go and rate your story 1-star or insult you. Yes, I might make jokes about you, but I make jokes about everyone.

I don't know if you can see my replies, since you're not replying to any of them, but let me tell you that I don't care even if you're the most toxic person in this forum or not, as long as you treated me as a friend, I'll respond in kind.

So, as someone who'd like to treat you as a friend, let me tell you, chill down my good man. We always insult each other here as a way to lighten our daily worries.

When I just came here I didn't talk to anyone. I though I was uninvited, albeit for a different reasons. It was a mistake. A lot of people here have quirks, they build up a certain persona, but they are all friendly and welcoming.

I think the biggest confusion you have about the forum is that it’s very different from the main site itself.

The main site has far more people reading stories, and many of them never come to the forum. They rate and never say anything, then they might say bad things in comments.

Seeing a lot of your posts, I think you’re assuming that the culture on Scribblehub is the same as here in the Scribble Hub forums, and in reality it’s a very different group. Insults on SH do not have the same joke meaning as insults by the majority of people here on the forums.

It’s two different cultures. Majority on the forum have tried to author, failed at authoring and now just shitpost, are here just to be entertained by others or are looking for genuine advice. Your threads, which you claimed were written in anger, come off as complaining which is why a lot of our responses were sarcastic.

Hell, if you look at my earliest threads (if you can find it) I come off the same way and had some drama too. I even did one worse and took revenge by giving people 1 star ratings because of it (grants at the time I had multiple deaths around me so I wasn’t exactly in a good state of mind) but you get the picture.

SHF is different from SH, some of us here that shitpost don’t even go to the main website anymore.

Hey, I mean, while I do have a long-running series, it doesn't mean it's popular. In fact, I've long accepted the fact that my main work would be buried in the heaps of isekai stories for eternity once I reached its conclusion (I'm currently 17 volumes for a total of 20 planned).

Yeah, and echoing Anon, those of us on both sites (or at least me) are tamer on SH than SHF.

On Main I found a tiny niche of authors and readers with whom I've entered into a mutually supportive friendship (except that one person who dropped my book at the cute fluffy ship tease chapter... like i had a lot of heavy grimderp shit that they could have dropped at instead, but they chose the cute chapter... whatever), and it's nice.

Here i let off steam, poke fun at people, and sometimes lash out at an idiot for being an idiot.

When I do go bitch mode on someone, though, and this includes those times when Forli received it, it wasn't because haha kick in crotch, no. It was because Something Was Very Very Wrong and I'm hoping to break through the set-in stains on the brain to at least force a recalibration.

Like accusing the entire forum of liking genocide. This has a massively harmful impact, not least of which is now when someone actually comes along, advocates genocide, and gets attacked, people stop caring because that line has been used to cry wolf too much.
