I ended up pushing my hiatus status longer, soth that I could fix a singular issue I have been having. My character has the dreaded system, originally it wasn't going to be very original, however I have since tweaked the idea like this, so feel free to use it if you like:

*The system is an ai interface in his body that controls nanites
*He can use it to add muscle mass, however doing so is super painful, requires him to eat a large amount of food, and makes it awkward as he'll have to train the new muscle or it'll naturally disappear
*if he want to learn say piano, the ai can download it, but instead of straight out knowing it, he'll have to practice.
*the ai can put him in a realistic vr setting and use the nanites as haptic feedback devices for said training

I'll appreciate any feedback or ideas to improve this, or links to your take if you decide to use it in your stories.

Damn this system sounds like being a normal human. Why not just make the main character a prodigy at this point?
I was hoping to use the system as a trainer
I also dislike the cheaty system of I needed a wand, oops got it by luck in a gacha 13 chapters ago.

I think this is missing some passive effects of those nanites? For example accelerated metabolism or other more specialized bonuses, like speeding up the neural system or allowing to process some resources normal humans wouldn't be able to, such as heavy metals or plastics.

Like, you know, your nanites are running out of materials to function so you need to go eat a few processors to get the rare earth metals.

You could add it as a sort of Nanite Upgrade Package that would give them new functions and require some rare resources to kickstart their production.

Apart from that it's good though, can't really think of anything to improve what you've written.

I like the idea, however considering the bullshit in our foods I'm pretty sure he could just eat normally and get those heavy metals and plenty of microplastics.... if he wants some mercury he can always eat tuna

do you know how much you can boost your word count every time the system updates? detailing the effects of every skill/upgrade through the power of copy/paste. you are a fool not to use a system.

youll even get feedback of how much people apreciate the detail when they start comenting on what changed since the last chapter stat update

your downsides are generic and suck. since he is getting his skills from a computer the downside should be him failing to grasp/understand the emotional side to things. he'll be a peak corperate slave.

Doesn't matter what kind of system it is. System = garbage.
As a LitRPG author, I'm feelin' a little pressed right now. System doesn't equal garbage. Systems serve as mechanics and if you do it correctly, they can be plot points themselves. It's like someone saying sci-fi is garbage. You are disregarding an entire genre of literature.

Personally, I don't like LitRPG, but LitRPG is okay. System without LitRPG = garbage.

How about political system, ruling system, monetary system, accounting system, systematical law and social order, and other government system and political programs that wasn't a literal blue boxes with stat numbers ?

Those system exist before the existence of world war, let alone the existence of computer and game, nor gamelit novels.

I agree with you tho, most LitRPG system is garbage.

Personality, I would prefer LitRPG without system.

Bruh, obviously I'm not talking about stuff like, for example, political system, solar system, etc. I'm talking about, for example, gacha system, antagonist(villain) system, necromancer system, and other garbage.

I wasn't clear enough, what I am making isn't a system in the traditional sense, it is simply what is most logical from current human technology extrapolated to its full extent of near-future development.
