I have multiple accounts in SH. One of them I use for adult or mature novels.

I know smut novels might not be up everyone's alley, especially the dark ones. Now, I have clearly added every tag that is necessary. Yet, there are a few nut jobs who come in, try to justify morality, drop a few moral comments, and drop a few bad ratings before going out. And if that is not all, they would simply disable their account before going out.

Dude, just don't read it if you don't like the tags. Why morally justify a fantasy novel?

That's not disabling their accounts. That's denying everyone access to view their account. And by the look of you trying to go through their profiles, I think they made a good call

Maybe they suck at reading tags?

Maybe add a disclaimer chapter at the start of the story?

I ended up adding a disclaimer at the start of my kinda dark smut novels, partially because I wondered about people reading tags, but also because a few things like story tone are hard to entirely encompass in tags.

The main factors that made me decide I needed one were I had one reader drop at chapter 18 because one thing I was describing was too much for them, and another reader come in on chapter one and be like 'wow no this is terrible' who had read tags but admitted to disregarding tags because they thought it was a bait and switch.

Which was very cool of them both to say! Owning up to mistakes is awesome, very politely saying you can't stand a novel and are dropping it and why is very useful info for me, and in both cases I would've had no idea of why they dropped otherwise. And for tone I feel like it was kinda my fault, since I didn't have a tag like that earlier (there isn't really a tag for that).

Still, I hope the disclaimer will help others stop before they read something they would fundamentally dislike.

What can I even do if I check the profile. Please stop making a Liam Neeson out of me.:sneaky::sneaky:

I didn't just add the tags, also added a disclaimer right at the first line of the synopsis. I even added disclaimer even on the a few chapters that had gore and r-thing. What else can I do more? I think this is a serial offender.
Send them my way! I'll take the one-star ratings!
I really want your attitude. You are the GOD.
