Writing to IQ Estimator

Estimates the IQ of a person using a sample of a text they wrote.

I got around 90 to 120 ish in average when I just typed my usual ponderings. it does fluctuate a lot.

I'm just curious how high or low you guys can go. don't take it seriously though, maybe you can do it just for fun.

if you want you can also share the stuff you write for it as well.

i tried it on wikipedia articles and essays by ralph waldo emerson, on some sophisticated ones, they do have around 130 to 140 in average.

curious what kind of writing will give about 180 or 200 score though.

127 IQ in the AWU thread, 118 as a writer, and 90 on Discord. :blob_hmm:

I always had a tickle of a feeling that this is the case, but seeing the raw data from a random Internet page really solidified it for me. I have room temperature IQ, since it depends on the room. Food for thought, indeed.

Has somebody run chatgpt through this yet?

this feels more that it's weighted on the use of 'difficult' english words so even a seemingly insightful text can have average to low score if it's written in a layman manner. i got this from trying to paste the page with the most difficult english words and their meaning.

but overall the lowest among the writings i find is only 70 while most are around 80 to 110.

my immortal fanfic had an average of 70 to 80 btw.

also this feels like such a joke if they really rate this so high

The same (average) text misspelt garners a lower score. Also it doesn't like repetition or mundanity.

Actually plugged in a bunch of my own recent writing, and it pretty consistently gives me 108 IQ. Not sure what that says about me or my writing.

English is not my native language but I got a pretty high score (I have a slightly above average IQ I guess)
