Can you survive in your own original works with no cheats or perks? Just being born normal?

For my case bruh. Just bruh. I would have to hit a jackpot to survive tbh. my chances are 1%. I would be lucky if the city I spawn is safe. In my novel, if you are not in a thriving city or a certain race. you are either dead or even worse. it's not about thriving. the daily objective is surviving. T_T

If you're allowed the basic amenities the setting gives you (Mine is a setting where, while access to magic is a physiological factor, there's no secret bloodline needed to get it and it's regarded as common enough to be something people can likely do), then I'd probably thrive.

Otherwise... yeah depends on my luck,

Hah! No! I would die incredibly soon, unless I happened to spawn in the one of the really expensive places. Then I give myself maybe... a week? The eldritch creatures (called Torments) in the series open rifts wherever people with particularly extreme and poor mental health/morally negative views walk through and the Miasma concentrations are high enough. One would form around me like Blammo! And that's if I survive the System-backed diseases, the gang wars spanning entire states, the monsters (corrupted animals), the demonic spawn... There is a lot of ways to die.
What's your story about? Somehow, I doubt it.

It'd be paradise. Unless I end up in that one country with a capital that brainwashes people or the time where primordeal gods butchered whole universes or I end up near a planar collision site when the gods try to introduce new things to the world...

The chances of something terrible happening are as nonexistant as Genshins gacha rates, tho. So I'm pretty much safe.

My story has no fantasy or sci-fi elements with an exception of MC transmigrating. It's our world with a couple of small differences. So, unless I get thrown into African savannas, huge deserts, in the middle of the ocean, or something similar, I can survive.

Surprisingly enough for my latest story, I'm good! It's pretty much 1980s Earth that runs on porn logic, though the main character wants to live a decent life. Honestly, I would too so it'd be really annoying, but I know the secret of getting out of that world and to find some friends who would treat me really well.

Before that was a monster evo litrpg, but I never explored further than the dungeon so that story doesn't count.

And before before that, I had the isekai police! They've pretty much got a paradise in their base so I'll thrive there.

I'd probably live. Unless it was "Representing Envy"

I mean, In a cultivation world, most things depend on luck and talent. So I would have to take a test and see if I'm talented, hahaha. Maybe I can become someone that can soar the Heavens, or maybe I'm just a normal commoner. Thankfully, the commoners in my world are not miserable, so I would, at least, survive, if I'm in a nondemonic territory.

Heavily depends on where I was born. I will either live as a commoner in a kingdom away from monsters, doing manual labor, or if I am lucky, even own myself a business, or I will be born closer to the frontlines, get drafted into the army the second I reach the age (or when I look old enough for draft officer,) get sent to fight against demons, probably mauled to death in a month or two, or if I am lucky to survive the war and live rest of my life with heavy trauma.
